"League of Legends" 2016 International College Championship (LICC) will kick off at , Taipei Flower Expo Park Popular Pavilion in Taiwan, China at 17:30 on November 11. During the three-day LICC event, ten top international university teams from many regions such as Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia , Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand will gather here to compete for the glory of LICC championship.
This year's LICC will be divided into two stages: group stage and knockout stage . During the group stage, 10 college teams will be divided into two groups A and B, and the BO1 single-cycle competition will be held in the same group. The first two teams in Groups A and B that were finally decided will enter the BO3 competition in the knockout stage until the final champion is decided. At present, 2016 LICC grouping results has been announced . Teams A are: Taiwan University (Taiwan, China), IVE team (Hong Kong, China), Haikou School of Economics (China), UPH team (Indonesia) and TIP team (Philippines); Teams B are: Thailand University team, RP team (Singapore), Taiwan Normal University (Taiwan, China), HUFI team (Vietnam), and APU team (Malaysia).

The Haikou Economics School team, which represents mainland China, will usher in their first game at 19:00 on the 11th, and their opponent is the IVE team from Hong Kong, China. Afterwards, the Haikou Economics School team will compete with the Indonesian UPH team at 20:00 on the 11th. On November 12, Haikou School of Economics will usher in a confrontation with Taiwan Normal University and the Philippines TIP team at 17:00 and 19:00 respectively. Knockout stage competition will officially start at 11:00 am on November 13. Teams that won the top two in Groups A and B will be held in the BO3 cross-elimination match. The first semi-final will start at 11:00 am on the 13th, with Group A first vs. Group B second. The second semi-final will be held at 14:00 p.m. on the 13th, with Group B first vs. Group A second. The winners of the two semi-finals will meet in the finals starting at 17:00 on the 13th to determine the final title of 2016 LICC.
