Today's "Chu Cai" has become the platform with the longest duration, the widest coverage and the largest number of participants in cross-strait youth exchanges. Many instructors believe that from the differences in literature among students on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, it can be seen that the perspectives of each other's attention and even the Chinese language ability are different.

Wu Yizhe, an eighth-grade student at Yongnian Middle School in Yunlin County, Taiwan, won the first prize in Chu Cai’s composition for an article "Change Angle". At yesterday's award ceremony, he recited this essay for teachers and students on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Wu Yizhe learned about "Chu Cai" through his Chinese teacher. The teacher suggested that he participate in the competition and learn the writing style of mainland students.

Lai Yutong from Taichung Zhonghongming Experimental High School believes that the composition styles of Taiwanese and mainland students are still different; mainland students' compositions are very rational, mature in their thoughts, and have their own unique thinking on national affairs such as population issues, and can also be expressed vividly; Taiwanese students' compositions focus on language expression and detailed description, and have a fresh style, "I like to write compositions in novels."

What are the differences between students in the two places learning to write? Su Meili, head of the Social Education Section of the Education Department of Miaoli County Government, introduced that local schools have half an hour of morning reading every morning, so that children can read more when their minds are most clear, "Reading is the source of writing." Nie Beiru, a senior high school student at Yilan Middle School, said that the school will have two composition classes a week. In the first class, the teacher will explain grammar and rhetoric skills, and in the second class, the students will write essays. "Teachers will combine recent news events to let everyone write their thoughts." Liu Zhiting, a second-year high school girl at Qiaotai Middle School in Taichung, also talked about the importance of social events when choosing a school. The teacher would spend half a class every week to tell the news to students, "Like the Eight Immortals Dust Explosion that occurred in Taiwan not long ago, the teacher specifically introduced this incident and encouraged us to write down our thoughts on this accident."

Wu Yizhe introduced that the school he works in does not have special composition classes, but every summer vacation, the school will organize a week-long composition training, and invite teachers from United Daily News to explain writing skills to everyone. "The most mentioned is to pay attention to detailed descriptions. The more details, the more vivid the story."

Chucai essay review experts said that the two sides of the Taiwan Strait have the same literature and family relationship, and the same roots and origins are the same family. Due to different cultural backgrounds, the articles and works have their own characteristics. The compositions of the Taiwan competition area focus on polishing language and refining details, which are natural and fresh, elegant and timeless; the works of the Wuhan competition area show the ductility of thinking, the plot is tortuous and novel, and have room for imagination.
