School Overview
Poznan Medical University was rated as the best medical school in Poland for three consecutive years in early 2000. The University is a Polish medical leadership center with more than 91 years of academic experience and great development potential. The best equipment in basic medicine , clinical research, diagnosis and treatment research. Teaching and research are mainly based on joint efforts with 6 large clinical hospitals and surrounding urban hospitals.
This university publishes hundreds of research papers in academic journals every year. Every year, faculty and staff will attend no less than 400 international academic conferences. In 1991, it decided to introduce English-based courses, and in 1993, it began a 4-year M.D. professional course designed entirely in accordance with the requirements of the US curriculum and the American physician license examination system. A year later, according to the Polish/European curriculum, the 6-year English teaching M.D. professional course also began. Our last planned English teaching project in 2000, introducing a 5-year English teaching course for dentistry.
