It can be seen that China has a long way to go on the road to management and identification of guns. As early as 1984, Taiwan also experienced a history of black gun flooding. According to Taiwan police data, Taiwan's history of black guns has gone through three stages since the mid-1970s, from imitation revolvers, to imitation of mainland May 4 pistols, and then to the "Desert Eagle" pistols. Taiwan's history of black guns

Turning to Taiwan's history of black guns, 1984 was a year when the underworld on the island was particularly rampant and the black guns were flooded extremely.

At the beginning of that year, the Taiwan "Investigation Bureau" cracked the largest illegal gun smuggling case in Taiwan's history on the Linbian coast of Pingtung, and dug out hundreds of standard pistols from the Philippines. Since then, the relevant parties have found a large number of black gun smuggling cases, and private owls have appeared in a variety of ways, with sea and air pipelines open. Despite this, the Pingtung Coast is still a major center for illegal gun smuggling, and the number and grade of black guns ashore here is still the first. A new record was set before the Spring Festival in 1994. Among the Wei Shiyuan illegal gun smuggling group cracked by the police, the number of guns exceeded 200, which is shocking!

In Taiwan, the detailed records of black guns seized by the police were also in 1984. In fact, black guns have existed in Taiwan for a long time, but the number is still small and the impact on public security is difficult to make a difference. Most of the people seen are rough "pen pistols", most of which are scary. The reason why 1984 was a year when black guns were extremely flooded in Taiwan was not only suddenly seized hundreds of black guns in the Pingtung Strait, but also because the underworld was particularly rampant that year, especially the "Bamboo Alliance Gang" was simply omnipresent in Taipei, immersed in all walks of life, and also implemented a "Southward Plan" , intending to connect with local forces in the central and southern regions, so they often pulled out guns and fought each other, causing gunfire to spread, forcing the intelligence agencies to adopt strict measures against the underworld, and the "One Clearance Project" , which is dominated by the anti-gangster, began.

In the ten years from 1984 to 1993, Taiwan police seized 30,584 illegal guns, including various standard pistols, submachine guns, rifles and toy pistols, as well as explosives such as grenades and detonators. It is worth noting that the number of black guns seized by the police and other public security agencies here is never as large as the number that has been logged in. The "largest" gun smuggling case seized by the police is by no means the "largest" in the true sense, but the largest mistake in the underworld. Before that, the number of successes in the underworld may be greater. Relevant experts in Taiwan have speculated that the proportion of firearms seized and the flow of firearms into the market should be one to nine, and the statistics released by the relevant authorities yearly also clearly reflect the fact that a large number of firearms are flowing into the market.

How much does Taiwan gang demand for black guns? This may be a mystery that never breaks down. Strictly speaking, it is a bottomless pit, which requires as much as you have, because black guns do not have to be used. They are effective when placed, and can show their financial strength and strength. The so-called "holding a gun"! , but this also leads to the greater the number, the better, the stronger the firepower, the better. With standard pistols, you need umzi , and with umzi grenades. In short, the symbolicity of the black gun in the underworld is more important than practicality. The more you have, the better, but once you use it, life is at stake.

According to statistics from Taiwan police, the large-scale smuggling of guns on the island was the most rampant in 1984, but after the "Yiqing Special Project" at the end of this year, the number of guns seized in 1985 and 1986 was not more than 800 guns seized in 1985. However, since 1987, black guns have spread again and reached their peak again in 1989. This year, as many as 9,852 black guns seized, nearly over 10,000, more than 7,000 more than 2,419 in 1988, an increase of four times.

In 1989, the submachine guns seized by the Taiwanese police also set a new record, reaching 378. The filing record of the first Uz submachine gun used by the underworld in Taiwan was at the end of 1985. Zhang Youwen, who was the captain of the Taipei City Criminal Police Brigade at the time, led a team to round up the "Wanhua Killer" Liang Guokai. By the end of 1988, the total number of submachine guns of the same type was not more than fourteen, but by 1989, there was a "breakthrough progress", which was really shocking!

In the late 1980s, there were so many black guns in Taiwan that it was so widespread that "can pick up guns whenever you walk on the road."

At that time, Taiwan's black guns and black sources mainly included three groups: Ye Ding, Gan Qingzhi and Hong Qimin. After several years of arrest by relevant Taiwan authorities, they were finally cracked by the intelligence unit. When was cracked down on Ye Ding Group at that time, he unexpectedly found that his source of goods was the same as the smuggled guns seized in Pingtung Linbing in 1984. Not only did he import the guns in containers with great courage, but his sales network was well-connected and complex, with more than 50 people involved in the case, including a "commander". In the end, half of them were arrested and sentenced to jail, cutting off the system's island distribution pipeline. Unfortunately, due to the escape of Chen Yongdong, the most critical "distribution figure" of the system, the relevant authorities have difficulty in thoroughly grasping the "distribution network" of Ye Ding's system, which has caused harm to this day.

By October 1990, the Taiwanese police cracked a Wang Rongzong smuggling group that imported firearms in the name of "waste paper". This smuggling group that specializes in importing drum-type, wuz and other powerful submachine guns sold the guns to the shooting criminals at that time through intermediaries. The impact of this group on Taiwan's public security is undoubtedly of great significance.

The years in the late 1980s were the most severe years of black guns in Taiwan, and its rampantness was also extremely shocking. When analyzing the reasons, the police believed that there were four main reasons why black guns were so rampant during this period:

First, after the "release of strictness", there were loopholes in "coastal defense" and coastal control was not strict enough;

Second, there were serious signs of lax customs inspections, resulting in the increase of cases of "importing from containers";

Third, the underworld elements who were forced to conduct training on Green Island during the "Yiqing" crackdown on gangsters in 1984, after returning to society after the training period was over, they urgently needed a large number of guns;

Fourth, there were many gatherings in those years, and the police always felt overwhelmed in the allocation of police officers, and it was difficult to deal with it.

Entering the 1990s, these four reasons have been solved by Taiwan's intelligence agencies one by one, thus curbing the number of black guns. However, smuggling activities in the underworld have not disappeared. It is difficult to smuggle the standard gun, so it is replaced by "toy guns", which really reaches the point of "no fish and shrimp". Of the 6,377 illegal guns seized by the police in 1992, 4,307 were included in the scope of "toy guns". The same was true in 1993. Among the 2,940 illegal guns seized, 1,344 were "toy guns". After the gun smuggling case was curbed, in 1993, the Taiwan police seized a considerable number of black guns again on the Jialuo Water Coast in Pingtung, Zhongzheng Airport and other places, respectively. Each time, it was in a hundred. Some senior police officers believed that such a large-scale black gun landing was related to the "county and city councillor" election at the end of this year and the "county and city council" election. Because in 1992, a large number of underworld figures entered the hall. Although they had "bleached", they were constantly involved in the underworld, so they needed guns to consolidate their status. The guns showed their unshakable strength during the election, and the more guns, the better. Therefore, the underworld has become more and more frequent in the past two years. Every election, gunfire will inevitably occur, and past grudges have been broken by taking advantage of the election opportunity.

March 19, 2004, the day before the Taiwan leadership election, candidates Chen Shui-bian and Lu Xiu-lien were shot in mysterious shooting, which caused controversy in the election results of the next day. This incident occurred the day before the voting day of the 2004 Taiwan election, which caused controversy. On October 9, 2013, Tang Shouyi, the 319 shooting case, was sentenced to 10 years in prison and fined 600,000 yuan by the Tainan District Court.

Although the Taiwan gun smuggling case in 1993 was much more restrained than in the mid-to-late 1980s, the smuggling of guns showed an extremely serious phenomenon of "gun drugs and drugs of the same origin". Drug traffickers colluded with arms dealers, fearless and rampant. Some underground drug processing plants often owned guns, posing a serious threat to society. Judging from the drug trafficking groups seized by relevant authorities in Taiwan in the past two years, all of them carry guns, and all of these drug trafficking groups are related to arms dealers outside the island. It was in the police cracked the gun smuggling case of Pingtung Jialuo Water Coast, and it was unexpectedly discovered that Zheng Jinyuan on the list of suspects was a member of the Ye Ding Group cracked in 1988. He was not only fled overseas, but also had close contacts with overseas drug dealers. Some of his overseas relations were unable to be cut off, and he still committed crimes from time to time, which caused a headache for the police.

In Taiwan, 1993 was a year when anti-drug was the focus of public security. The number of drugs seized was also considerable. Several major cases were also solved in this year. On the contrary, the investigation of black guns seemed to be secondary. It is understood that Taiwan's public security will still focus on drug prevention as its first goal this year, but the relevant police stations have proposed to pay equal attention to drug control and gun control, pay attention to different types of crimes caused by the proliferation of drugs, and black guns will still be the focus for investigation.
