He said that in the first nine months of this year, a total of 715,597 foreigners entered Cambodia and 631,655 foreigners left Cambodia.

At the same time, 328,552 Cambodians went abroad and 300,431 returned to Cambodia.

, spokesman of the State Administration of Immigration, Gao Wantong, said that he will strengthen inspections of foreigners, improve laws on managing foreigners, and strictly investigate foreigners who live in illegal residence.

He added that in the 89,786 permanent residence permit applications, the State Administration of Immigration has approved permanent residence for 66,719 foreigners.
