In order to effectively digest the explosive order of Model 3, Tesla also launched a pre-order plan of "pay a deposit of 1,000 US dollars in advance to get a new car first." However, as the production capacity is not as expected, even if you have the pre-order right in your hand, you still have to wait a year or two before you can deliver the car.
Under this premise, many prospective car owners cannot stand their temper and choose to sell their pre-order rights at a high price; however, Tesla stated that the contract stipulates that all transfer actions of the pre-order rights must be approved by the original manufacturer, and consumers are advised not to sell them without authorization.
In the third season, Tesla only delivered 260 Model 3s.
I still remember that after Elon Musk left all the first batch of new cars to his employees during the press conference, he vowed to increase the production of Model 3 to 1,500 units by the end of September.
