About a week later, don’t see a new energy vehicle with "Model + letters" and think it’s Tesla . What new products are launched by the Hon Hai Technology Group, because Hon Hai Technology Group is Foxconn . Two new electric vehicles, electric pickup trucks, Model V and hatchbacks, Model B, will be released on the annual "Hong Hai Technology Day", and the appearance and shape of the two cars have been previewed through promotional videos.
It is worth noting that this is not Foxconn's car manufacturing, not "paper talk". His electric bus Model T was handed over to Kaohsiung passenger transport as early as March this year and put into operation. However, the seven-seater electric SUV Model C and the luxury RV Model E, which were released at the same time as Model T, have not been delivered yet because they are independent prototypes.
So after counting this, Foxconn will deliver Model B and the improved Model C version to the terminal market next year. Let’s take a look at what attractions are these new cars that will meet the market.
1, Model B: Foxconn version "ID.3"
Model B is the most exposed new cars, and its positioning is similar to Volkswagen ID.3. The front face of the new car is more special. The through-type headlight design lights up the car logo. In addition to the split light group, the "second layer" also has a strip-shaped closed mouth printed with the FOXTRON brand name. The hatchback of Model B does look very similar to ID.3, both of which are short and concise, using hidden door handles and personalized C-cylinder panels to highlight the black body surround.
However, the currently public Model B is still in a conceptual state. The electronic exterior mirror and taillights with specific patterns can be made in the rear of the car. They should not be retained in the mass-produced version. Model B is built on the MIH electric vehicle platform with a range of 500km and is expected to be sold in Europe, the United States and China.
2, seven-seater SUV Model C
Model C is the first electric vehicle advanced developed by Hon Hai and Yulong's Honghua. It has been sold through the Nazhijie brand and is positioned as a medium-sized seven-seater electric SUV. It is expected to be priced below 1 million NT$ (about 230,000 yuan). The exterior styling adopts the minimalist style commonly used in pure electric vehicles. The two-color design body adds fashion to the overall shape, and the overall low slant is more like an ALLROAD crossover . The estimated length of the vehicle is 4640mm, the wheelbase is 2860mm, and its wind resistance coefficient is as low as 0.27Cd. In terms of interior, Model C has an LCD instrument panel and a large-size central control screen.
3, Pure Electric Pickup Model V
At present, Foxconn has only released some detailed information on Model V, but we can still see that the positioning of this pure electric pickup will not be low. The Model V has a very stretched body proportion. The pure electric one is door handle, large wheels made of bright materials and an outstanding bright blue body, which makes people reluctant to use it as a brick and cargo transport only. The Model V adopts a closed center grille design and is decorated with dot matrix diamond blocks. The front of the new car is also equipped with a sensor system required for the intelligent driving assistance system.
And last year's "Honghai Technology Day", the Model E that Guo Taiming appeared on the stage. Although there is no new news yet, it is obvious that this is a flagship-oriented medium and large four-door coupe , and it will definitely be the focus of Foxconn's future mass production. I will wait and see if a mass-produced version appears this year.
