Preparation items

Passport + visa. Needless to say, you must bring this well and make sure that both the passport and visa are real and valid. It is best to back up a copy and store it separately.

Traveling friends are advised to prepare a Chinese and Japanese itinerary to explain the approximate schedule and destination to facilitate browsing and communication by inbound officials. Especially hotel information, you need to use it when filling in the entry card.

If you are attending a business meeting, remember to bring a Chinese and Japanese invitation letter to avoid making things difficult for customs questions.

brings a pen with you, which is convenient for filling out various forms on the plane.

When you are about to arrive at your destination, the flight attendant will issue an entry card and a customs declaration form. There are declaration forms that can be collected at the entry place, but it is best to fill it first on the plane. While saving time, it can also reduce the panic of filling out after getting off the plane.

Fill in the form

1. Entry card

After you get the entry and exit card in the plane, please fill in the necessary matters. If you have abnormal physical condition, please follow the quarantine officer to go to the health consultation room at the airport. Entry and exit cards can also be collected at the airport's entry quarantine counter. Don't lose it after entering the country, you need to keep it with your passport.

On April 1, 2016, the Japanese Ministry of Justice Entry Administration of the Entry Administration of Japan made a simplified update on the Japanese entry cards of foreigners.

(new version of entry card)

(old version of entry card)

The old version of the entry record card in the past is divided into the front and back. The right side of the front is filled in the entry information, and the left side is the departure information. After entering the country, the departure information will be torn off by the Japanese entry examiner and nailed on the passport, and will be torn off when leaving the country. The new version of

is not that troublesome, and the new form will no longer be filled in gender, occupation, passport number and amount of Japanese yen. Filling out the entry form is very important. It is OK to fill out the entry as follows. Try not to modify it.

※When filling in the entry card, you need to pay attention to:

1) Since the meaning of Japanese characters and Chinese is not exactly the same, in order to avoid misunderstandings when checking passports or the inspector cannot interpret them, it is recommended that the entry card be written in English or Japanese as much as possible. It is particularly reminded that in the place where "Japan Contact First (Japanese Contact Address)" write the name and address of the accommodation, and leave the information you can contact with in the phone part (visitors usually write information about hotels or homestays.) In order to reduce the possibility of supplementary information by customs personnel.

2) The number of days in which Japan is stuck during the prescribed period (an estimated period of stay in Japan) is calculated from the departure date, including the total number of stays on the day of return. For example, if you leave on 4/1 and return to China on 4/5, then fill in the 5th day.

3) The writing order of the birth date, month and day is "Day, month and year". For example, 01 (Day) 04 (Month) 2016 (Year). Remember not to write the day and month in reverse!

2. Application form

Application form is easier to fill in, and the spaces are all neat. (A family only needs to fill out a form. If a friend is on a trip together, each person needs to fill out one.

Anything that doesn't have any problems will pass quickly.

2. Entry review (Entry border inspection)

After filling in the entry card, the entry review is approved. The entry review channels are divided into three types: Japanese, re-entry channels and foreigners' dedicated channels. The channels are selected according to the actual situation to handle entry procedures. Now Japan's entry is implemented with a new entry review system, requiring photos and fingerprints to be taken. The procedures are as follows:

1) Submit passport and entry registration card, etc.;

2) Put the index fingers of both hands on the fingerprint reader;

3) Take photos through the camera above the fingerprint reader;

4) Accept inquiry by the entry examiner. Remember to answer carefully after accurately understanding the questions of the entry examiner, and do not nod at will, otherwise it is very likely that the information will not be passed because of the wrong answer. If you don’t ask, don’t talk too much;

5) The examiner returns his passport and finishes the review. Only permanent residence, under the age of 16, diplomats and families in Japan, as well as personnel who are exempted from being exempted from diplomatic and official visits to Japan.

If you carry items that require tax or cannot be confirmed, go to the red channel. Everyone must submit a report form for the delivery of luggage separation.

Japanese entry luggage regulations

As the number of people traveling to Japan has increased year by year in recent years, in addition to some items that are clearly prohibited, people who carry other prohibited items into the customs are getting more and more years, which makes Japanese customs fathers very troubled.

As foodies in the Great Heavenly Kingdom, the most painful thing for many friends may be that they have gone abroad. They cannot carry their favorite spicy duck necks, pickled pepper chicken feet, five-spice pig trotters, sauce duck, king of kings and pig elbows!

When you return to China, the most sad thing is entering from Japan. Every time you pass the customs, it is like fighting wits and courage.

At the beginning, many people did not know that Japan could not bring meat products into the country, so they brought some meat snacks with them, but they were confiscated by the customs on the spot.

In fact, Japanese airports have explicit regulations that it is prohibited to carry fruits, meat, eggs and other foods into the customs. The reason for the prohibition is to prevent virus pests from attaching to food, causing foot-and-mouth disease and avian influenza to spread in Japan. But obviously there are still many foreign tourists who do not know this. For this reason, a reporter from the program team specially went to the landlords with the most tourists to interview foreign tourists.

"I know that some things cannot be carried, but I didn't expect that meat, vegetables, and fruits cannot be carried."

"I don't know which ones can't be brought except fruits, but I think it's natural to think about it."

Japanese customs fathers said that their heads were painful. They were forbidden and they were not kept for themselves. The regulations of the superiors were also for the sake of the people, otherwise they would take the blame if something happened.

In order to get rid of the blame, the customs fathers took a few cute pets to the airport, so that they would not be deceived by their cute appearance. What they did next was simply crazy! The law of nature does not tolerate it! The foodie wanted to hit someone after hearing this!

Under the cute appearance, the sense of smell is very sensitive. As long as it is its prey, don’t want to escape.

At the airport, if there is a dog posing this POSS with you, then congratulations, you won the first prize!

Speaking of this, someone wants to ask, what exactly can’t be brought with you when it comes to entry to Japan?

Items prohibited to carry into the country:

Cannabis, opium and other drugs, drug use

guns, ammunition and its parts, raw materials for explosives, gunpowder, chemical weapons

coins, banknotes, counterfeit products of securities

magazines, videotapes, CDs and other pornographic content

counterfeit, forgery, pirated, etc.

2 Items restricted to carry into the country:

When bringing animals (including meat foods such as ham and sausages) and plants (including fruits, seeds, vegetables, etc.) into Japan, (before customs inspection) must present the required certificates at the animal and phytosanitary service desk and conduct inspections. Some items are prohibited from importing or require a license.

 Carrying hunting rifles, Japanese swords or sword items, you must present the public security department certificate.

According to the Treaty of Washington, it is prohibited to bring certain protected animal products (crocodile, ivory, etc.), processed products, animals and plants into and out of the country.

Certain pharmaceuticals, health products, and cosmetics that are not used by individuals exceed a certain limit and must go through the import procedures of the Ministry of Health of Japan. Limited examples: 24 each of medical products (2 months of dosage), doctor-specified drugs (1 month of dosage), cosmetics, and beauty and health products.

Escape from declaration will be subject to customs punishment.

In addition, Japan's customs stipulate that there are certain limited quantities of items brought into the country by individuals. Within the limit, whether it is personal items or items transported separately, as long as they are considered to be of reasonable quantity and self-use, they are exempt from taxes. If there are both items that are carried with you and items that are transported separately, then the two should be added up when the limit is exceeded.

If the total amount exceeds 200,000 yen, goods within 200,000 yen can be tax-free, and the remaining items are taxed. An item that exceeds 200,000 yen, for example, a bag of 250,000 yen is fully taxed for 250,000 yen.

Things with a total overseas market price of less than 10,000 yen per variety are exempt from tax. For example, carrying 9 chocolates for 1,000 yen and 2 ties for 5,000 yen is tax-free.

If you just go on a trip, you shouldn't bring so many things, so don't worry. However, for all kinds of meat products brought from China, you should not bring them as sauced duck, salted chicken, duck neck, sauce elbow, braised eggs, etc., as well as

html, which is easy to be confiscated, according to Japanese reports, the airport can confiscate an average of 300kg of meat products in a day! ! ! In 2014, 10 tons were confiscated at Haneda Airport, and 18 tons were confiscated in 2015.

Although all the food has been confiscated, the Japanese customs also have reasons for having to do so. The reason why Japan strictly prohibits these contraband products is because it prevents infectious diseases from entering Japan and protects the health of Japanese citizens is also the unshirkable responsibility of the customs. Please cooperate more.
