According to the latest data from shipping consulting agency Alphaliner, as of May 9, 2022, Evergreen Shipping's total capacity reached 1,509,654 TEU, accounting for 5.9% of the global capacity, surpassing ONE, Japan's largest liner operator, and rising to sixth place in the world.

Alphaliner data shows that Evergreen Marine currently operates a total of 201 ships, including 122 owned ships and 79 chartered ships. In addition, it has 65 new shipbuilding orders, with a total capacity of 627,196 TEU. With the delivery of new ships this year, Evergreen's overall capacity will continue to rise, and is expected to grow by 15% to 20% by the end of the year.

According to statistics, Evergreen Shipping will deliver new shipping capacity this year ranks among the top few of shipping companies. In 2022, the global newly delivered container ship capacity will be approximately 950,000 TEU, while Evergreen expects the new capacity to reach 193,400 TEU this year, accounting for 20.4%.
