On the evening of May 30, with the cheers and reluctance of the audience, the 2021 "Jazz Starry Sky" Taihu Jazz Music Festival ended successfully. The music festival lasted for five days, with 19 bands and 108 musicians carrying their special songs to present a diverse music feast to the fans.
A small market with a comfortable night in a climate, a vibrant environment layout, a variety of wine, meals and music-related souvenirs sold, creates a unique jazz atmosphere. The melody sounded, people swayed to the music, relaxed with graceful feelings, and the audience captured their love in the ocean of jazz with different styles.
Jazz musicians also cherish the performance platform and carefully selected the performance works. Musician Chu Qiao brought a video he recorded over 6 years and completed his first sharing with the audience on the spot. The wonderful performances of Li Xiaochuan, LOS AMIGOS Latin Jazz Band, Sichuan Conservatory of Music Jazz Band and other famous performances also left a deep impression on the audience.
This jazz music festival is the first time that the National Grand Theater hosted a jazz-themed music festival in the past 14 years, and has achieved good results. Next, the Taihu Stage and Art Center of the National Grand Theater will continue to carry forward traditions, innovate, and actively serve the construction of the capital's "four centers", enrich the cultural life of the Beijing urban sub-center, promote the development and innovation of a series of art forms including jazz with Chinese characteristics, create a music landmark of Taihu Performing Arts Town, and create an influential comprehensive platform for performing arts.
