This morning, a car accident occurred in the Qijian section of Hechuan from National Highway 212 to Nanchong . An cement tanker suspected of driving out of the highway due to fatigue, overturned into the fields on the side of the road, with his feet facing the sky, and the driver was trapped.
At around 5 o'clock in the morning, the police, firefighters and 120 medical staff who received a call from nearby people rushed to the scene to rescue and found a large cement tanker overturned in the rice fields on the side of the road. The front of the vehicle had been deformed, and the driver's legs and head were injured to varying degrees, and there was no life-threatening danger.
After investigation, the rescue found that the driver's foot was tightly stuck by the deformed front of the car and could not move. Subsequently, firefighters used demolition tools to break the deformed front of the car. In order to avoid secondary injuries to the driver, the firefighters were careful and broke the deformed carriage bit by bit. After more than an hour of rescue, the tanker driver was successfully rescued and sent to the hospital for treatment.
According to the traffic police, the accident vehicle was originally driven from Hechuan to Nanchong. After the accident, the tanker drove through the opposite lane and overturned to the left road. The cause of the accident may be related to the fatigue driving of the tanker driver.
