China News Network Yangzhou October 8 (Reporter Cui Jiaming) On the 8th, the reporter learned from the Yangzhou Municipal Sports Bureau that in 2022, Yangma confirmed that offline running will be started and a new route will be launched. The registration channel will be opened on October 10, and the number of participants will be adjusted from 35,000 to 15,000.
According to Chen Lingchun, director of Yangzhou Sports Bureau, the Yangzhou Jianzhen Half Marathon (abbreviated as Yangma), as the top "double gold" event of domestic half marathons, has been suspended for two consecutive years since 2020 due to the epidemic. Currently, marathons across the country have pressed the restart button. With the approval of the Yangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the 2022 Yangma plan to start the race at 8 am on November 13. At present, all preparations for the event are underway.
It is understood that in 2022, Yangma will continue to be guided by Chinese Athletics Association , co-organized by Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau and Yangzhou Municipal People's Government, and hosted by Jiangsu Provincial Sports Competition Management Center and Yangzhou Municipal Sports Bureau. This event has launched a new route for the first time, with the starting point being a marathon park and the end point being adjusted to Sanwan Park.
Yangma New Track has been measured in November 2021 by international measuring staff. The contestants set off from the starting point Marathon Park, pass through the canal city scenery belt, Slim West Lake , Daming Temple and other attractions, and arrive at Sanwan Park. The contestants will see the distinctive new landmark of the Yangzhou Grand Canal Museum at the finish line.
Yangma is the largest gathering event to be held in Yangzhou since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic. Yangzhou Mayor Wang Jinjian said at the working meeting of the 2022 Yangzhou Jianzhen Half Marathon Organizing Committee held on the 7th, "Take good at epidemic prevention and control as the top priority in hosting Yangma."
"This event has set up an circuit breaker mechanism . If there are positive cases of new crown epidemics in Yangzhou society or large-scale epidemics occur in Jiangsu Province, the organizing committee and the Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Command to analyze and decide whether the event will be postponed or cancelled."
