0 August 14th to 18th, the 2015 "Cross-Strait Youth Leaders Study Camp" Mainland Camp was held in Chengdu. 45 outstanding college students from 23 universities on both sides of the Taiwan Strait including Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Hsinchu Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Tsinghua University participated in the study activities. This is the first time in more than five years since the "Cross-Strait Youth Leaders Study Camp" mainland camp, it has been in cities outside Beijing and Shanghai.

"Cross-Strait Youth Leaders Study Camp" is co-organized by the China Education International Exchange Association and the Eisenhower Foundation in Taiwan. It aims to comprehensively improve the comprehensive quality of outstanding young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and enhance the understanding and friendship between young leaders on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Since 2010, the two sides have successfully held five "Taiwan Camps" and two "Continental Camps", with more than 500 students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait participating in the event. Teachers and students from four universities in Taiwan visited the Southwest University of Finance and Economics campus, the School History Museum and the Currency Museum with teachers and students of Southwest University of Finance and Economics in eight days; listened to the Special lectures such as "Chengdu History and Culture", "'Belt and Road' and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank", "Internet Finance Overview"; return to the hometown of "Tuantuan" and "Yuanyuan" - Ya'an Bifengxia Base of China's Giant Panda Protection Research Center, and listen to the stories about "Tuantuan" and "Yuanyuan"; experience the culture of Shangli Ancient Town, and go to Yingxiu Town to experience the huge changes in the reconstruction of the "5?12" Wenchuan earthquake. July 13, the 2015 Cross-Strait Economic and Trade Cooperation and Academic Exchange Seminar was held at Southwest University of Finance and Economics.More than 30 experts and scholars from Taiwan Political University, Taipei University of Commerce, Fengjia University, Deming University of Finance and Economics, Kaohsiung University, Taichung University, Soochow University, Taiwan Jingwen University of Science and Technology, Taiwan China University of Science and Technology, Taiwan Mingxin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan Truth University and Southwest University of Finance and Technology attended the meeting.
