China News Network, September 20th According to Taiwan's United Daily News, an explosion occurred in Haiguang Iron and Steel Plant in Xiaogang District, Kaohsiung City and a plastic factory next to it were suspected of an explosion on the afternoon of the 20th. A Vietnamese worker in the steel plant failed to escape by driving an excavator and burned him to death on the spot. The cause of the fire was investigated by the Fire Department.

At 1:22 pm on the 20th, a fire was on Yongguang Street, Xiaogang District. The fire department dispatched 10 vehicles and 17 people to the scene. It was originally thought that it was a fire alarm in a plastic logistics factory, but the Haiguang Steel Plant next to it also caught fire. The firefighting cannot confirm that the steel plant is suspected of explosion, burning the plastic factory, or the plastic factory catches fire and burning the steel plant.

According to preliminary understanding of the police and firefighting, the space package in the plastic factory was burned and extinguished at 1:58 pm on the 20th, and no one was injured. However, after extinguishing the fire in Haiguang Iron and Steel Plant, it was found that the excavator outside the factory was burned and a Vietnamese worker died.
