In the ultra-high voltage assembly workshop of TBE Electrician Hengbian Company, workers are doing the final debugging of this offshore wind tower transformer with the largest capacity in China. Just over a week ago, this transformer with full intellectual property rights passed the short-circuit bearing capacity, vibration and internal combustion arc tests at one time at the National Electrical Appliance Product Supervision and Inspection Center. All performance indicators fully meet the strict requirements of offshore wind tower operation.
Compared with transformers operating on land, the working environment of offshore wind power tower transformers is harsh. In addition to the high salt and high corrosion at sea, the transformer must work in a relatively narrow offshore tower. Because the space inside the tower is very limited and the heat dissipation conditions are poor, it is also necessary to focus on solving key technical problems such as miniaturization of transformers, heat dissipation and safety and reliability.

At present, Hengbian Company has achieved the integration and engineering application of key equipment such as 220KV boost transformer, 220KV reactor, 252KV combined appliance, 40.5KV inflatable switch cabinet and other key equipment, and has the ability to integrate and solve the offshore wind power transmission and transformation system.
