A company called Gogoro has released an electric scooter that can be purchased in Taipei and other cities in the summer. The scooter company says Gogoro will release the Smartscooter scooter and Gogoro Energy Network in Europe next year. Amsterdam will be Gogoro's first stop experience in boutiques, and it should be early next year.
According to Gogoro, Amsterdam was chosen because it is in the world's leading position in efficient and clean energy use. Gogoro will join the Smart City Experience Lab, where Smartscooter EV, Gogoro Energy Network and GoStation will be displayed.
Gogoro will start in Amsterdam in the first half of 2016 and will also be conducted in other cities in 2016. Experience boutique will be an exhibition gallery that displays Gogoro's skills and techniques, styles and personalized choices. The Smartscooter EV is the first high-performance smart electric two-wheeler with a replaceable battery.
Gogoro Energy Network is an advanced battery-switching infrastructure designed for cities. The idea of a battery replacement station around is to allow smart scooter users to replace the battery when they need it, so that they can ride in every corner of the city as they like. This scooter sells for approximately $4140 in the United States.
