Basic conditions for enlistment
Male youth:
① Young people with junior high school education, over 18 to 20 years old (born from January 1, 1999 to December 31, 2001);
② Young people with high school (including secondary technical secondary school, vocational high school, technical school) or above education (including college students), aged 17 to 22 years old (born from January 1, 1997 to December 31, 2002);
③ College graduates with college or above education, aged 17 to 24 years old (born from January 1, 1995 to December 31, 2002);
④2019 online registration for male youth starts on January 10 and ends on August 5.
recruitment physical examination standards are:
Height: males above 160cm.
Weight: Standard weight = (height -110) kg. Men should not exceed 30% of their standard weight and should not be less than 15% of their standard weight.
Vision: The naked eye vision of the right eye of the young man in the recruited eye shall not be less than 4.6, and the naked eye vision of the left eye shall not be less than 4.5; the young man in the recruited eye who adopts excimer laser surgery to correct his vision shall have an operation time of more than half a year away from the recruited eye, and no complications shall have a naked eye vision of 4.8, and the fundus shall be normal. The specific physical conditions must comply with the " Standards for Physical Examination of Citizens to be Recruited" and relevant regulations issued by the Ministry of National Defense.
(Youth Male) enlistment procedure
(I) Online registration.
Before August 5 each year, male citizens (including current students and fresh graduates) who are interested in enrolling can log in to the "National Recruitment Network" to fill in their personal basic information. After the registration is successful, download and print the "Male Citizen Military Service Registration/Recruitment Form" by themselves. College students should also download the "Registration Form for Pre-Recruitment of College Students". If they meet the national tuition funding conditions, they should also download and print the "National Student Loan Compensation Application Form for College Students to Contract Tuition Fee Compensation" (hereinafter referred to as the "Registration Form", "Registration Form", and "Application Form") and submit it to the recruitment and student aid management departments of colleges and universities for review.
(II) On-site verification.
After successful online registration, young people who apply for enrollment should bring their personal ID card, household registration book, graduation certificate to the township where they are registered to , the armed forces department, or the county people's armed forces department to confirm and verify the registration information on the spot, so as to facilitate the smooth progress of follow-up work such as physical examination and political examination.
(III) Initial review and preliminary inspection.
Recruited youths shall take their ID card, household registration book, student ID card, academic certificate, etc. to the designated place at the designated location at the prescribed time to participate in the preliminary review and inspection organized by the township military service organs. Young people identified as pre-recruitment targets must carefully fill in their personal information.
(IV) Physical examination and political examination.
College students can choose a land acquisition for joining the army at the school location or their registered residence before admission. In order to reduce the subsequent preferential payment and college tuition compensation review procedures, and enhance work timeliness, college students are advised to enroll in their registered residence before enrollment. After the recruitment begins, the county-level military service organs will notify the township armed forces department of the specific time and location of the physical examination at the station, and the township armed forces department will notify the recruited young people themselves. The township armed forces departments will uniformly organize recruited young people to participate in the physical examination organized by the county-level recruitment office in accordance with the prescribed time. After the qualified personnel of the physical examination are confirmed, the local public security, education and other departments will carry out political joint review work.
(V) Visit and investigation.
Those who have passed the initial political joint review and physical examination will be notified by the county-level recruitment office to the grassroots people's armed forces department of the township (town, street) where the recruited youth are located and arrange a visit and investigation.
(Sixth) Pre-service training.
According to the notice requirements of the Ministry of National Defense Mobilization and the Hebei Provincial Military Region, all young people who pass the physical examination and political examination must participate in the week-long pre-service training organized by the county recruitment office. Through training, we will further enhance our national defense concept, cultivate good work style, and firmly believe in joining the army.
(7) Reservation of recruits.
County-level recruitment office comprehensively measures the personal basic situation and pre-service training performance of those who pass the physical examination and political examination, determine the candidates for approval for enlistment. Under the same conditions, priority will be given to the new graduates with high education as planned recruits.
(eight) public announcement.
The list of new recruits will be announced in counties (cities, districts), townships (towns, streets), and subject to mass supervision. The announcement time will be no less than 5 days.
(9) Approved to join the army.
If the physical examination and political examination are passed and the public announcement is made, the county-level recruitment office will officially approve the enlistment army and issue the " enlistment notice ". Students shall apply for household registration cancellation with the "Notice of Enlistment" and enjoy preferential treatment for conscripts. They shall wait for handover and transport them to the army for service. Those who apply for tuition funding must also send the original "Application Form" stamped with the official seal of the county-level recruitment office and a copy of the "Appointment Notice" to the student aid management department of the former university.
preferential policies for ordinary soldiers to join the army
(I) Basic rights and interests of conscripts.
In 2019, our county implemented preferential treatment of conscripts in the city and rural areas. The preferential treatment standard for conscripts who were conscripted from our county was 30,000 yuan per year.
According to the current standards of preferential treatment and the current military standards of our county, ordinary conscripts can earn at least 167,654 yuan in two years (1. The first year allowance is 1,000 yuan/month × December = 12,000 yuan; 2. The second year allowance is 1,100 yuan/month × December = 13,200 yuan; 3. In addition, the preferential treatment funds for conscripts entering Tibet and Xinjiang are paid at 150%; the preferential treatment funds for conscripts entering college students are paid at 110%.
(II) Economic treatment of non-commissioned officers. The proportion of non-commissioned officers in

(III) Resettlement policy for retired soldiers.
The people's government will arrange work for non-commissioned officers who have been in active service for 12 years, soldiers who have received second-class merit and or above in wartime rewards, or retired soldiers who are rated as disability levels of Level 5 to Level 8 due to war disability.
(IV) Employment and entrepreneurship support policy.
Retired soldiers can participate in vocational education and skills training organized by the government for free within one year of retirement from active service; those engaged in individual business shall implement preferential policies such as reducing and exempting related taxes, supporting micro-loans, providing financial interest subsidies to micro-profit projects, and exempting relevant administrative and institutional fees.
College student soldiers preferential policies for enlistment
(I) Development prospects.
1. College students or new college soldiers who are not over 23 years old in the second year of joining the army can participate in the military college admissions examination as high school students;
2. Undergraduate graduates who are not over 26 years old in the second year of joining the army can directly be promoted or admitted to school;
3. College graduates and junior college graduates can participate in the military college entrance examination . If college or college graduates cannot take the exam or advance, they can be selected as non-commissioned officers (high-end ones are designated as second-term non-commissioned officers), and their school age is included in their military age.
(II) Academic arrangement.
College students or freshmen can retain their academic status by joining the army and can still resume school within 2 years after retirement.
(III) Tuition fee compensation.
The state implements tuition exemption for college students and soldiers, and generally compensates according to the actual amount paid, with a maximum of no more than 8,000 yuan per person per year.
(IV) Education upgrade.
1. The country has set out 5,000 master's degree enrollment indicators every year, and special projects are for recruiting retired college students, with a separate plan.
2. Retired college students who have won the second-class merit or above can be exempted from the examination (referring to the preliminary examination) to pursue a master's degree.
3. Retired college students will participate in the postgraduate entrance examination and will add 10 points to the total score of the preliminary examination. Admissions will be given priority under the same conditions.
4. Retired higher vocational (junior college) students will be given priority to taking the junior college entrance examination after completing higher vocational studies.
5. College student soldiers can be transferred to other majors of the school after retiring after retirement. After the school agrees and performs relevant procedures, they can be transferred to other majors of the school.
(V) Government recruitment.
Hebei Province stipulates that after college students are discharged from the army, they can participate in the civil servants and public institutions recruitment examination. The written test score will be added to 10 points, and the recruitment will be given priority under the same conditions, and no less than 10% of the indicators are used for targeted recruitment.
