056 once adopted the design of the anti-wave wall inward tilt of the bow. The result is not only ugly, but the trial effect is also poor. In the end, it was changed back to the most common dagger-type ship head. The early 054A ships also swayed between the line-shaped head wave wall and the floating wave wall. The 1500-ton maritime patrol ship is independently designed and built by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. In September 2015, Pakistan signed a construction contract with China Shipbuilding Corporation for two 1500-ton patrol ships. The first ship "PMSA 143" was built at China Shipbuilding Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., referred to as Huangpu Wenchong; Ship 2 was provided by my country and was built at the Pakistani Karachi shipyard and started construction on January 27, 2017.
This coast guard ship is very beautiful and very coordinated. The transformed ship looks more high-end, atmospheric and upscale than the original, which shows that the designers of Huangpu Shipyard have deeply optimized the ship and the result is very successful. The biggest problem after the
056 series is that when it encounters a little high sea conditions, the foreground will be severely waved, and even cause the waves to hit the main gun turret directly, which makes it difficult for the 056 series to perform tasks in the long sea. It will be difficult to change in the future, because the total tonnage of the hull is too small, and the total tonnage of the automatic main gun system is dozens of tons. If the fore deck is raised, it will seriously affect the overall stability of the entire ship.
In addition, through the comparison between this patrol ship and 056, it can be seen that the height of the overall freeboard and rear apron has been reduced, so the overall look is more coordinated. The 056A's tail deck is too high, which is also one of the factors affecting the 056's visual coordination. The too high tail platform causes the 056A to have no large-scale hangar, which is the result of the compromise between the anti-submarine system and the helicopter at the tail for space. Considering that our overall anti-submarine helicopter was equipped with too few , the helicopter hangar space finally gave way to the anti-submarine sonar to the tail cabin.
