Recently, Opel Insignia has added a 1.6 CDTI diesel version and is equipped with an infotainment system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay. Opel Insignia will add a 1.6 CDTI diesel engine this time, using it to replace the existing 2.0 CDTI diesel engine. The new low-power version of the engine can have a maximum power of 88kW, accelerate 11.9 seconds from 100 km, and fuel consumption of only 3.9 liters per 100 km. The maximum power of the high-power version is 100kW, the acceleration from 100 km/h is 10.9 seconds, the maximum speed is 210km/h, and the fuel consumption of 3.8 liters per 10 km/h is 10 km/h.
The new Opel Insignia is equipped with the Angie Star system and the new Navi 900 IntelliLink infotainment system, and is compatible with Apple's CarPlay system. CarPlay system was developed by Apple and Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Volvo and others, and was released in 2014. Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari and Volvo models are first equipped with CarPlay systems, and BMW, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot Citroen, Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota will also launch models equipped with CarPlay systems.
