Currently, there is only one high school in Debao County, with 3,451 students and a small number of classrooms. The number of students per class reaches 56, which is far beyond the construction standard of 50 people per class. Due to geographical reasons, the surrounding area cannot be expanded. By 2020, it is estimated that more than 10,012 students will be enrolled. In addition to the number of students studying in secondary vocational schools, 6,000 people still have to study in high schools in Debao County. According to the standards of demonstration high school in the autonomous region, only 2,500 degrees can be arranged.
In order to solve the needs of junior high school graduates in Debao County to receive high school education and improve school conditions, Debao County plans to invest 231.28 million yuan to build the Debao County No. 2 High School in the northeast of Ma'antun, Baideng Village, Chengguan Town, Debao County. The total construction area of the project is 61,029 square meters. 84 teaching classes are planned to be established, which can accommodate 4,200 people. The main construction of teaching buildings, teaching complex buildings, lecture halls, teaching lesson preparation rooms, teacher dormitories, student dormitories, canteens, gymnasiums and ancillary facilities. The main construction contents are construction projects, decoration projects, water supply and drainage projects, , electrical projects, fire protection projects, intelligent system , outdoor sports fields, road projects, outdoor floor greening, fences, retaining walls, doors, earthwork projects and other related supporting facilities.
