According to the latest forecast from TPOC Taiwan Theme Research Center, Gao Hongan predicted votes with a forecast of 38.51%, temporarily ranking first in Hsinchu mayoral candidate.
Taiwan media analyzed that although the green camp was dispatched to attack Gao Hongan in full swing, anyone with discerning eyes could see that the green camp was not only saving the election situation, but also taking the opportunity to suppress the momentum of the chairman of the Taiwan People's Party Ke Wen-je "2024". In addition, in addition to receiving strong support from the Party, Gao Hongan also joined the "battlefield" to provide support, which allowed Gao Hongan's positive and negative voice to balance, which is also the reason why Gao Hongan's support has not fallen.

Wei An, a senior Taiwanese media person, revealed that according to his understanding, senior DPP leaders recently held a meeting with the Taipei Municipal Party Committee’s public office to mobilize and arrange four groups of people, one of which was specifically used to deal with the Taipei Municipal Councillor Xu Qiaoxin of the Kuomintang. In response, Taiwanese media man Huang Yangming pointed out that the DPP's move just means that they have despised the election of their own Taipei mayoral candidate Chen Shizhong.
Huang Yangming analyzed that if Chen Shizhong wins the election in this Taipei mayoral election, the non-party candidate Huang Shanshan returns to his amateur status, and the Chinese Kuomintang candidate Jiang Wanan returns to the legislative body of Taiwan, and there will be no major turmoil in Taipei's political arena for the time being; but if Jiang Wanan is elected as the mayor of Taipei, Zhongshan District and Beisongshan District will have to vote for by-voting, and Xu Qiaoxin's constituency happens to be in Songshan and Xinyi, and the constituencies overlap. Huang Yangming's analysis is not without reason. Taking Taoyuan City as an example, Zheng Yunpeng, the "Green Committee", is currently running for the mayor of Taoyuan, and is surrounded by Lin Feifan, deputy secretary-general of the Democratic Progressive Party. The two of them have integrated Taoyuan mayor election and the by-election of the Democratic gentry early. Once Zheng Yunpeng is selected, Lin Feifan, who has moved his household registration to Taoyuan, will take over the baton and participate in the by-election. This also means that the Green Camp believes that Zheng Yunpeng has a certain chance of winning and can help Lin Feifan train.
In contrast, in Chen Shizhong's current camp, it is impossible to tell who can participate in the private by-election of Zhongshan District and Beisongshan District. Therefore, the Green Camp will definitely lock in Xu Qiaoxin and specifically find a group of people to keep a close eye on it, for fear that any disturbances may endanger the green camp's election situation.
