classic case↓↓01 impersonating e-commerce customer service fraud

html On September 14, Xiaoli (pseudonym, 26 years old, company employee) in Meilan District, Haikou City reported that on September 13, he logged into the Xianyu APP on Wuxi Road, Haidian Island, Meilan District, Haikou City to sell idle clothes. A user wanted to buy it, so Xiaoli sent the Alipay collection code to the other party. Then I received information from another user and payment screenshots on Alipay, saying that Xiaoli's store has not been upgraded and needs to be upgraded within a certain period of time. Otherwise, the official will freeze the Alipay accounts of both parties and attach a picture of the customer service QR code.

Xiaoli scans the QR code in the picture to contact the customer service. The customer service said that upgrading the store requires generating an exclusive bank card account to allow it to authorize and authenticate the funds transfer. After the authentication, the funds will be returned to the account, and Xiaoli will also present the "working ID" and "identity ID" to Xiaoli. Xiaoli transferred money to the account designated by the customer service. After the transfer, the customer service asked him to continue transferring money on the grounds that the credit limit was insufficient. After Xiaoli transferred money again, the customer service still failed to activate the account and upgrade the store on the grounds that the credit limit was insufficient, resulting in the funds being temporarily unable to be returned. Xiaoli chose to trust the customer service because she was anxious to refund the money. After transferring money to the designated account to the customer service many times, the customer service also said that she needed to download various online lending platform software and apply for registration before the funds would be returned. After downloading as required, Xiaoli still had no funds returned and could no longer contact customer service. So she realized that she was cheated, and the total amount of money she was cheated was more than 20,000 yuan.

htmlOn September 15, Xiaojun (pseudonym, 49 years old, company employee) in Qiongshan District, Haikou City reported that on September 15, he received a strange call with area code 0898 at No. 2 Sanfeng Road, Haikou City. The other party claimed to be " JD Finance customer service", saying that due to the adjustment of the national loan interest rate, verification operations are needed to lower the previous loan interest rate.

The other party asked Xiaojun to download an APP called "Cloud Video", and Xiaojun joined the meeting through the meeting code. Then the other party sent a false link in the meeting. After Xiaojun clicked on the link, he displayed the "China Banking Regulatory Commission" page, clicked on the online service function of the page, and the customer service guided the operation and transferred money to the designated account. 03 order brushing rebate fraud

html On September 15, Xiaoqiang (pseudonym, 27 years old, company employee) from Meilan District, Haikou City reported the case: On September 11, he was added by a strange QQ at No. 3 Guoxing Avenue, Haikou City. The other party asked him if he wanted to make extra money. Xiaoqiang said he could get it, so the other party pulled him into a QQ group chat.

Xiaoqiang downloaded an APP called "Maohe" through the QR code sent by this group. After contacting the APP customer service, he was pulled into an APP group chat. When Xiaoqiang saw that many people in the group sent "profit screenshots", he asked the instructor in the group how to take orders and make money. The other party first distributes a task to Xiaoqiang, asking Xiaoqiang to transfer and recharge money to the other party's designated account, and log in to a fake website to operate and brush orders. After the first order is over, the other party said that he was receiving a continuous order and needed to continue to brush the order, and he would return it after the continuous order is over. Xiaoqiang believed it and transferred money to the designated account again to recharge. After several operations, the other party said that his operation was incorrect and he could not recover the money, so he allowed him to transfer a sum of funds as a repair order to withdraw cash. Xiaoqiang still could not withdraw money after transferring the money, so the other party asked him to transfer another amount of funds as a collection order, so he realized that he was cheated, with a total of more than 40,000 yuan in defrauded.

vulnerable group: company employees, students.

method of committing crimes: the scammers add victims in large quantities through social platforms and send false profit screenshots. If the victim cannot withstand temptation or has a fluke mentality, he will easily fall into the trap of the scammers. After the scammer sends a false website to the victim to brush orders, he guides him to transfer money to the designated account multiple times on the grounds of his operational errors, thereby committing fraud.

Police remind: Online order swiping is illegal. Do not scan or click on the QR code or URL sent by strangers, and be careful not to be deceived. Don’t be greedy for small gains, don’t be lucky. Those who work part-time orders, first recharge and transfer money to do tasks and then rebate are all frauds. We must firmly "not believe it easily, not disclose it, and not transfer money."
