This book has brought a large number of online teaching methods and online teaching resources to colleges and universities from the interpretation of online teaching policies to online teaching forms, live teaching platforms to the transformation of teacher roles, online teaching hardware software to quality assurance system, curriculum resource integration and course operation management, etc. It is divided into 10 chapters, including: interpretation of relevant policies of the Ministry of Education under the epidemic, interpretation of relevant documents of Nankai University under the epidemic, form of online teaching, online live teaching platform, problems and solutions faced by online teaching, attitude and etiquette of online live teaching, hardware and software required for online teaching, online teaching quality assurance system, international and domestic platform quality assurance system, future development direction of online teaching, etc.

The manuscript of this book is more than 300,000 words, organized and compiled by Nankai University Academic Affairs Office, Digital Teaching R&D Center, and School of Tourism and Service. The main creators include Nankai University Professor Qiu Hanqin, Li Chuanyong, Yao Yanbo, etc.

It is understood that Nankai University Press attaches great importance to the editing and publishing of the book. During the fight against the epidemic, it coordinated and worked together across departments, which took 20 days from planning topic selection, organizing author writing, applying for topic selection, and completing the three reviews and three schoolwork.

On February 15 this year, Nankai University Press established a coordination group for the "Suspension of classes but not learning, providing external teaching resources" to actively plan topics related to epidemic prevention and control, and publish e-books, video courses, and documentary series of anti-epidemic volunteer activities on the official website of Nankai University Press, official accounts and other platforms for readers to read and use for free.
