Nankai University Life Guidance Center has arranged 4 era dormitories in the Balitai campus, providing visitors with no reservations to visit. It is understood that these four dormitories replicate and restore the decorative styles of the 1970s and 1980s and 190s, reflecting the real life status of the students at that time.

Entering the dormitory of the 1980s, a space that is more than 4 meters long and about 3 meters wide, there are 3 iron beds on the upper and lower bunk beds, a wooden wardrobe and a desk. The globe on the desk, alarm clock, desk lamp and the recorder with a sense of time on the ground have made Fan Guoqiang and others fall into deep memories.

90s: Guitar is the standard for boys' dormitories

Zhao Long still remembers that when he was studying at Nankai University, every boy's dormitory had a guitar, and when he was free, he picked up the guitar and yelled a few words. It was the most popular era for Lao Lang, and almost everyone could sing "You, the Deskmate" casually.

After six months of polishing and improvement, four dormitories in the era were restored in September this year. In more than half a year, they checked the historical archives of the dormitory and repeatedly discussed with the design company to improve the design plan and decoration details. From every wall of the dormitory to every brick, from daily necessities such as tea jars and washbasins to learning tools such as pens and erasers, to books, pictures, BP machines, Shanhaiguan drinks, etc., try to highlight the temperament of each era.
