Mingdong Expressway (Mingcun, Pingdu City, Qingdao to Dongjiakou, West Coast Economic New District) is invested and constructed by Shandong Expressway Group , with an estimated investment of 5.3 billion yuan. The total length is about 126 kilometers, of which the Zhucheng section is about 37.5 kilometers long, with a designed maximum speed of 120 kilometers per hour, and , two-way six-lane . After repeated docking and reporting with Shandong Expressway Group and planning demonstration with the design unit (China Communications Communications Construction Group Planning and Design Institute), the planning and design of the expressway has reached an agreement.

Mingdong Expressway passes from north to south through Zhucheng Baichihe Town, Xinxing Town , Linjiacun Town , and Taoyuan Ecological Tourism Development Zone 4 towns (parks). There are 5 interchanges in Zhucheng section, including 4 interchanges, namely the East-West Interchanges, Qianmi Road Interchanges, National Highway Interchanges, and Taoyuan Interchanges; 1 hub interchanges, namely the Xinxing Hub Interchanges, the Qinglan Expressway Xinxing Hub Interchanges. project is completed, it can achieve convenient connections with 7 highways, including S21 Xinwei Expressway, S16 Rongwei Expressway, G20 Qingyin Expressway, Weifang to Qingdao Airport Expressway (Plan), G22 Qinglan Expressway, Dongjiakou to Wulian Expressway (Plan), and Shenhai Expressway from north to south. Zhucheng City to Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport can achieve full-course highway and direct cargo transportation highway to Dongjiakou Port .
