Qiu Chui-zheng, deputy chairman and spokesperson of the Mainland Affairs Council, said this afternoon that the Mainland Affairs Council will continue to work with relevant agencies to understand whether there are any Taiwanese faculty and scientific researchers involved in the Mainland's key research and development plans. If violations of regulations are found, they will be investigated and dealt with in accordance with the law.
As for how many people violate the regulations? Qiu Chuizheng did not make any announcement, but only emphasized that the investigation and punishment are still underway and the competent authority is respected.
