The red instructor of "Prison University"

Hello everyone, today I am telling the story of "Prison University" Red instructor".

There is such a Communist Party member who spent his short life striving for the cause of propaganda and revolution. Even if he was imprisoned, he did not forget his mission. He was the red instructor known as the "Prison University". He is Zhang Qiuren, Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.

11927 was appointed as the Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee in September. However, the day after he came to Hangzhou to take office, he was followed by a spy and unfortunately arrested and imprisoned in the Kuomintang Zhejiang Army Prison.

This high-walled deep courtyard built during the Beiyang warlords period is a demonic cave that imprisons and persecutes Communists. Here, blood and tears flow every day, and gunshots and shackles are heard. But even in such a cruel environment, Zhang Qiuren still insisted on reading for five or six hours a day. Someone asked him in confusion: "Since you are waiting to be shot, why do you still have to study?" He said: "A Communists have to work for the revolution for one day. Since they cannot revolution in prison, they should study hard. How can they sit and wait for death?" Under his influence, many young people in prison changed their decadent and pessimistic emotions and began to study hard. During the day, he taught his fellow disciples to read, and at night he told revolutionary stories. From the French Revolution to the Paris Commune, from the October Revolution in Russia to the Chinese Revolution, his No. 5 A prison became a classroom for learning the truth in the prison. Not only that, his enthusiasm for learning also infected other prisoners. Every time he lets go, it is a time for Zhang Qiuren to answer questions and solve problems, and he has become a red instructor for his fellow prisoners.

1928 February 7, 1928, Zhang Qiuren asked mysteriously, "Do you know what day is today?" Seeing the inmates shook their heads, they said, "Today is the anniversary of the '27th' strike. In the evening, I will tell you about this history that the Chinese working class is proud of." However, what everyone did not expect was the last lesson taught by Instructor Zhang.

In the early morning of the next day, six prison guards came to No. 5 of Prison A. Zhang Qiuren knew that the last time was coming, so he sorted out his clothes and handed them over to his friends, saying: Leave it for everyone to change, I won’t waste them. The refugees held his hand tightly, and these men who did not cry easily burst into tears. They hoped that they could listen to the teachings of this revolutionary leader again. But he died, and he was only 30 years old at the time. 30, and thirty years old is the best moment for a person. However, Zhang Qiuren's 30 was forever frozen on February 8, 1928.

The famous economist Xue Muqiao of my country was also imprisoned with Zhang Qiuren at that time. Once when he went abroad, a foreign journalist asked him: Mr. Xue, I want to know which university you graduated from in China? Guess what Xue Muqiao answered, he said: I graduated from a prison university in China. When he was commemorating the enlightenment teacher of the "Prison University", he said with great respect: "Comrade Qiuren is a good comrade Qiuren, a good party member, very capable, very good publicity, and a mass base. Unfortunately, he sacrificed too early."

Zhang Qiuren's life was short, but the revolutionary spirit he left behind has always inspired future people to forge ahead. Countless Zhang Qiuren went on one after another, and exchanged for peace and stability for us with their flesh and blood. Now, if we remember the martyrs, we will not truly die, our original intentions will continue, and we can better write the future!
