Vaccination service fee reduction
Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission website recently released the "Notice of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Provincial Department of Finance, and Provincial Health Commission on Reducing the Standards for Vaccine Vaccine Service Fees", which will be implemented from July 10th.
According to the "Notice", starting from July 10, the Hubei Province Non-Immunization Program vaccine vaccination service fee standard will be adjusted from the previous one to 20 yuan/dose in the province.
It is understood that the price of non-immune planning vaccines is subject to market regulation and is generated by market competition. When a vaccination unit receives the non-immunization program vaccine, it may charge the recipient or his/her guardian for vaccination service fees. Vaccination services include health status inquiries before vaccination, informed notification, injection, observation, consumables (including disposable syringes or self-destructive syringes, alcohol and other disinfectants, sterile cotton balls or cotton swabs, etc.), vaccination information services, etc.
Provincial Development and Reform Commission requires that vaccination units should strictly implement the adjusted unified charging standards, and shall not increase charging items, raise charging standards or charge any other fees without authorization, use bills according to regulations, and implement charging publicity.
At present, my country divides vaccines into two categories. The first category of vaccines is provided to citizens for free. Citizens should receive vaccines in accordance with government regulations, also known as free vaccines, and the official name is "Immunization Program Vaccine". Class II vaccine is other vaccines that citizens have paid for and are informed and voluntarily received. The official name is "non-immunization program vaccine", such as: influenza vaccine, chickenpox vaccine, hand, foot and mouth vaccine, pneumococcal vaccine, rotavirus vaccine, etc.
