The Singapore government announced that it will issue more vaccine allowances to local citizens! Adults can be exempted from 50%-75% of the fee, and children under the age of 18 are given free of charge for injection of designated vaccines.
Angine Amin, the senior deputy minister of the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Home Affairs, said that by the end of this year, all vaccines shall be enjoyed by the end of this year.
Specified vaccine injection institutions include social security assistance program (CHAS) clinics and comprehensive clinics.
The Adult Immunization Program (NAIS) contains the 7 vaccines in the figure below, which can prevent influenza , Streptococcus pneumoniae, human papillomavirus (HPV), tetanus , diphtheria, whooping cough, measles , mumps, German measles, hepatitis B and chickenpox .
The National Children's Immunization Plan includes 8 vaccines that can prevent diphtheria, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, whooping cough, pneumococcal infection, polio , rubella and tetanus.
The Pioneer Generation of Singaporeans will also receive an additional 50% allowance, while the Merdeka Generation of the country will enjoy an additional 25% allowance.
