1. In 1952, Ganyu, Donghai , Pi County and Xinhailian City, which were originally part of the Linyi District, were transferred to Jiangsu Province.

2. In March 1954, the two villages of Fenshuiling and Xiaozhangzhuang in Ganyu County, Jiangsu Province were assigned to the jurisdiction of Rizhao County, Shandong Province; 7 villages of Heidoujian, Qiancheng, Houcheng, Wangjia, Xiaojia, Huangjiaquan and Shezi in Shandong Province were assigned to Donghai County, Jiangsu Province.

1958, Qiantailai and other five villages in Jiangning County, Jiangsu Province were transferred to Anhui Province.

In the same year, three counties in Songjiang District, Jiangsu Province ( Jiading , Baoshan, Shanghai) and six counties in Suzhou District ( Chuansha , Qingpu , Nanhui, Fengxian , Songjiang, Jinshan ) and Nantong District, Chongming County were assigned to Shanghai.

1979, Wang Du and three other production teams from Wenshan Commune, Laian County, Anhui Province were transferred to Nanjing City.
