Kaohsiung Light Rail C20 Railway Art Museum Station to C24 Love Heart Station, along the route, passing through the art museum, the Chinese Art School, the Municipal United Hospital, etc., has recently completed the driving test of the electromechanical system and will move towards the goal of opening traffic in October, providing citizens with medical treatment and schooling needs.
Kaohsiung City MRT Bureau stated that after several weeks of installation and testing since mid-July, the light rail began to drive on the test section in a 10-15-minute shift distance during operation time according to the operating schedule from August 7 to 13 to simulate normal operating conditions to ensure that the system functions are stable and meet the requirements.
MRT Bureau pointed out that after completing the phased test work, the construction team will compile the test results over the past period and continue to make progress in making adjustments to prepare for the initial and survey operations before opening to traffic.
