Many of the spaces actually have nothing to do with changes on the battlefield, but they have something to do with the entire war. Here are the main highlights:
A major general of the Russian army was injured! The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that when he was attacked by the Ukrainian artillery near Swatov, Major General Oleg Jokov, commander of the 144th Motor Rifle Division of the 20th Army of the Russian Federation, was injured and Jokov evacuated from the front line on September 20.
In addition, from September 19 to 20, the bodies of 105 Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine were sent to a hospital in Rostov-on-Don (Russia); another 200 bodies will be transported there in the near future.
Russian army continues to force male residents of the temporary occupied areas of Ukraine. On September 19, personnel from the 1st Legion detained 10 men in Holifka ( Donetsk Oblast ), without asking about their age and health at all, and forced them to enlist.
From September 18 to 20, representatives of a Russian private military company tried to recruit prisoners held in Luhansk detention centers without success.
Russian occupation authorities in Crimea said most of the reserve personnel will come from private security companies with experience in military service. In Sevastopol , some companies have been instructed to prepare a list of all employees as required.
Ukrainian General Staff also reported that in the Russian Armed Forces Marshal Vasilevsky Air Defense Military Academy, located in Smolensk , graduates this year will graduate earlier than planned and will immediately serve in the Russian army.
The Russian military leadership plans to meet with citizens who are reserve personnel at the Moscow Joint Army Command School from September 26 to October 24.
During September 22, the Russian army carried out 4 missile attacks, 27 air strikes and more than 75 attacks on military and civilian targets in Ukraine. The Russian attacks destroyed the infrastructure of more than 45 cities, towns and villages.
Instead of actively taking action on the front line of Zaporoze , the Russian army used cannons to open fire at multiple places;
on the front line of Pifdenibuch, the Russian army opened fire at more than 20 towns and villages.
During September 22, various combat units of the Ukrainian Defence Force repelled Russian attacks near Kupiansk, Spirne, Mayorsk, Zaitev , Avdivka, New Mikhailyvka, Opitni and Kamianka.
Ukrainian aircraft attacked 25 areas where Russian military personnel and equipment were concentrated and 6 air defense systems .
In addition, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed a Russian m-8 helicopter and nine Russian drones on multiple fronts.
During September 22, Ukrainian rocket and artillery units attacked six Russian command posts; four areas where Russian military personnel and weapons were concentrated; three air defense systems; three artillery systems; and three ammunition storage sites. (End)
