In order to effectively resolve prominent safety risks and hidden dangers in rural areas in autumn and lay a solid foundation for the 20th road traffic safety and protection work of the Party, on the morning of September 29, the Traffic Police Brigade of Donggang Public Security Bureau dispatched 8 police cars and 28 civilian and auxiliary police officers to go deep into the countryside to carry out special rectification actions for prominent traffic violations in rural areas.
This operation starts from Donggang city, and passes through major townships in the jurisdiction such as Shizijie Town, Helong Town, Helong Town, Longwangmiao Town, Hangmiao Town, Majiadian Town, Beijingzi Town, Changshan Town and other major towns in the jurisdiction. The vehicle-mounted "big speaker" plays traffic safety publicity voices in rural areas in a loop, continuously extending publicity tentacles and coverage. During the
operation, the police adhered to the working principle of combining investigation and punishment with education, and focused on rural passenger vehicles, freight vehicles, private cars, "vans" and two-three-wheeled motorcycles. They conducted key inspections on traffic violations such as passing vehicles driving under the influence, driving without a license, overloading and over-wide, driving without a license, driving on the road without a license, and covering license plates. A total of 1 unlicensed driving, 2 vans overloaded, and 3 trucks overloaded, 2 hazardous chemical transport vehicles and 5 passenger vehicles were inspected. Some passengers of their buses were not wearing seat belts and were informed to drive civilized.
At the same time, the drivers of passing vehicles were promoted face-to-face traffic safety laws and regulations, and issued a "Letter to the Peasants" to villagers on the street, explaining traffic safety precautions during the autumn harvest season, and using cases to analyze the law to guide villagers to consciously resist traffic violations such as overloading in agricultural vehicles, rural vans, and driving under the influence of drunken driving, preventing occupying the road and drying grain and dust, and avoiding traffic accidents.
Next step, the Donggang Traffic Police Brigade will carry out special rectification of rural road traffic violations on a regular basis, taking "road inspection" and "propaganda guidance" as the main tools, and effectively protect the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and ensure the continuous and stable road traffic safety in the jurisdiction.
