News from the Shanghai Road Transportation Industry Development Center. As of 6:00 on January 7, 2021, the road maintenance industry in the city dispatched 3,742 emergency personnel, 4 salt sprinklers, 13 sweepers, 613 other emergency vehicles, using 16.875 tons of industrial salt, 2,603 sacks, 1,328 straw bags, 359 shovels, and 467 brooms. A total of 1 road icy was disposed of, and the anti-freezing and rescue of the authentic Chenxiang Road tunnel in Jiading has been handled; 75 road traction obstacles have been cleared.
It is understood that during the cold wave, emergency personnel from the city's road maintenance industry insist on on-site duty, strengthen road inspections, actively respond to the emergency rescue work of the cold wave, and ensure the safety of facilities.
