It has been confirmed that RedBird Capital Partners completed the acquisition of AC Milan today, with a transaction value of 1.2 billion euros.
They inherited a team that has won 19 Serie A championships, 7 European Champions League / European Cup championships, 7 Italian Super Cup championships, 5 Italian Cup championships, 5 European Super Cup championships, 3 Intercontinental Cup championships, 2 European Winners Cup championships and 1 FIFA Club World Cup titles.
The statement added that the Red Bird "will continue to invest in all key areas" which will promote the "sports and commercial interests" of the Ross and Blacks.
In addition, they are committed to "building on the achievements of last season" and relying on their experience in "operating and building a global sports business", they finally reached their peak in Serie A .
They added how their project will help create the "next chapter of Milan's legendary history" and "will continue to build on its current momentum".
The areas of priority focus include supporting the club's sports and business leadership to ensure that the team remains competitive at the highest level of football matches; ensures that it has infrastructure and facilities suitable for one of the world's most famous sports organizations; and strengthening the club's women's and youth teams, as well as its charity Milan Foundation.

The deal will also allow Yankees Global Enterprise (YGE), the owner of the Major League Baseball New York Yankees, to buy a minority stake in Milan. RedBird has a long-term partnership with the Yankees and Steinbrenner families, which means using the Yankees Entertainment Sports (YES) network.
Regarding the partnership with YGE, Cardinal Cardinale added: “We have decades of partnerships with the New York Yankees and Steinbrenner families, which has led to the birth of some of the most successful businesses in the sports, entertainment and hospitality industries.
