After 60 years, in April 2015, President Xi was invited to Indonesia to attend related commemorative activities. In Jakarta , President Joko Widodo invited President Xi to be the first to speak at the Asian and African leaders' meeting. In Bandung, leaders of Asian and African countries walked along the route 60 years ago to the former site of the Bandung Conference. In addition to being "similar", "connected" and "connected", there is also the "comprehensive" of the concept of the two heads of state.

In October 2013, President Xi proposed the initiative in Indonesia to jointly build the "Maritime Silk Road" in the 21st century. After President Jokovic came to power, he proposed to build Indonesia into a "global maritime fulcrum."

In recent years, the two countries have actively connected with the above initiatives and ideas. In October 2018, the two governments formally signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly promote the construction of the "Belt and Road" and the "Global Marine Pivot". During this visit, the two sides renewed the relevant memorandum of understanding.

How to achieve the goal of building a community with a shared future? President Xi Jinping pointed out that "the key is to make specific things done well."

In the two phone calls this year, President Xi clearly stated, "As long as it is something that helps promote Indonesia's development and deepens China-Indonesia cooperation, China will actively participate and do its best." "As long as it is a project that is conducive to Indonesia's development and cooperation between the two countries, China will have a positive attitude."

Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway is the "primary flagship project" for practical cooperation between China and Indonesia.

As the first high-speed railway in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway connects the capital Jakarta and the fourth largest city in Indonesia Bandung. It has a total length of 142 kilometers and a maximum designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. After completion and opening to traffic, the travel time between the two places will be shortened from more than 3 hours to 40 minutes.

During subsequent talks or calls, the heads of state of the two countries had to talk about the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway almost every time.

In this talk, President Xi pointed out that we must strive to build the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway with high quality as scheduled. President Joko Widodo said that the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway is a symbol of Indonesia's rapid development and will make it another monument to the friendship between the two countries.

"Regional Comprehensive Economic Corridor" and "Two Countries and Two Parks" are new flagship projects for cooperation between the two countries.

In May 2017, when President Jokovic came to China to attend the "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum, he proposed the initiative to build a "Regional Comprehensive Economic Corridor", that is, to build a comprehensive economic corridor in four provinces: North Sumatra , North Kalimantan, North Sulawesi and Bali, in order to attract investment and promote local employment.
