AT&T said Wednesday it will work with the NBA to provide 5G support for the NBA Summer League this month in Las Vegas. It is understood that AT&T will cooperate with Ericsson in the NBA games.

According to foreign media reports, ATT said on Wednesday that it will cooperate with NBA to provide 5G support for the NBA Summer League held in Las Vegas this month.

It is understood that in the NBA game, ATT will work with Ericsson to allow the NBA to use LiveU smartphone apps to broadcast videos from Samsung devices in the stands to the NBA's production truck. The video will be transferred from the truck to ESPN's webcast office for live broadcasting of the game.

ATT initially launched 5G networks in North Carolina , Charlotte and Raleigh in December last year; Dallas , Houston , San Antonio and Waco, Texas; Jacksonville , Florida ; Louisville , Kentucky ; Atlanta, Indianapolis, New Orleans and Oklahoma City.

In April this year, ATT expanded its 5G network to parts of Los Angeles , San Francisco , San Jose and California San Diego; Texas Austin; Florida Orlando ; and Nashville.

ATT then added 5G networks in Las Vegas at the end of June.
