Jiwei.com News, AUO Chairman Peng Shuanglang attended the unveiling ceremony of AUO and Taipei University of Science and Technology on the 30th and said in an interview that after the inventory adjustment in the first half of the year, the inventory of brand factories gradually returned to a healthy level in the second half of the year, and some customers began to turn positive in pulling goods, but it still takes time to return to normal situations.

According to Taiwan media Economic Daily, Peng Shuanglang believes that as countries gradually coexist with the new crown epidemic, the epidemic will not affect the panel industry much; on the contrary, the European and American governments have taken measures to raise interest rates to curb inflation. The depreciation of developing countries has led to economic collapse and impact on consumption. The Russian-Ukrainian war has not yet ended, and the rise in raw material prices, wages and climate change have brought great impact.

It is reported that in response to the reduction in orders for TV brands, many panel manufacturers began to cut production since June. Previously, there was news that Qunchuang and AUO are continuing to regulate production capacity, and AUO has delayed the construction of a new factory in Houli, Taiwan, China. This year, the capital expenditure budget has been reduced by 20%, from the original NT$45 billion NT$4 to NT$36 billion.
