Foxconn Technology Group ( Hon Hai ) announced that the company's net profit in 2020 fell by 12%, as the new crown epidemic suspended some of its production for several weeks and damaged the product demand of its largest customer Apple . The company's net profit in 2020 was NT$5 101.79 billion. Revenue in 2020 rose slightly from NT$5.34 trillion in 2019 to NT$5.36 trillion (about US$191.4 billion). Net profit in the fourth quarter fell 4% year-on-year to NT$45.9 billion, lower than analyst estimates. Sales increased by 15% in the fourth quarter to NT$2.01 trillion, a quarterly high.
Heshuo (PEGATRON Corporation) announced its 2020 results. In the fourth quarter, TSMC's 5 nanometer shipments accounted for 20% of the total wafer revenue, while 7 nanometer and 16 nanometer shipments accounted for 29% and 13% of the total revenue of wafer , respectively. Overall, advanced technologies (16nm and more advanced technologies) account for 62% of total wafer revenue.
MediaTek (MediaTek) announced its fourth quarter and full-year results for the 2020 fiscal year. The consolidated revenue in the fourth quarter was NT$96.405 billion (about US$3.47 billion), an increase of 49.0% over the same period last year. The consolidated operating profit for the quarter was RMB 15.373 billion, an increase of 146.9% over the same period last year. ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. released its fourth quarter and full-year results for 2020. UMC Electronics (UMC) announced its fourth quarter operating report for 2020, with consolidated operating income of NT$45.3 billion (approximately US$1.63 billion), an increase of 8.2% compared with NT$41.85 billion in the same period last year. The net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$11.2 billion. In 2020, UD revenue grew by 26% in US dollars, while operating profit increased significantly to NT$22.01 billion.

ASUS (ASUS) announced its results.
