After 6 days of fierce showdown, the table tennis WTT Kazakhstan Tournament ended on the evening of September 18, Beijing time. Unfortunately, a total of 25 Chinese table tennis players participated, but they were wiped out in five major events and ended with 0 championships. The best result was only mixed doubles to reach the final and won the runner-up. The specific results are as follows:
- Men's singles: Champion Firus, runner-up Lin Yunru ;
- Women's singles: Champion Hayata Hina , runner-up Fu Yu ;
- men's doubles: champion Lin Yunru/ Liao Zhenyu , runner-up Falk /Karlberg;
- women's doubles: champion Hayda Shina/ Hirano Miyu , runner-up Shen Yubin / Cui Xiaozhu ;
- mixed doubles: champion Lin Yunru/ Chen Siyu , runner-up Xu Haidong/ Wu Yangchen .
It is worth mentioning that this is the second time that the national table tennis team has been wiped out in the past three months. 1. Singles
As mentioned earlier, a total of 25 people from the national table tennis team participated in this competition, including 11 men's singles and 14 women's singles. Originally, the world champion Chen Xingtong and World Table Tennis Championships singles main Zhou Qihao also signed up, but he was unable to make an appointment in the end. The foreign association also participated by Shina Hayata, Miu Hirano, Lin Yunru, Falk, Zhang Yuzhen and other strong opponents, so before the game started, fans already felt that it was too bad.
As expected, the Chinese table tennis team suffered heavy losses in the qualifying stage just in the qualifying stage. In the first round of the main competition, the highest-ranked athlete Qian Tianyi and were also defeated and were swept 3-0 by Japanese star Shina Hayata. Qian Tianyi's position in the women's team of the national table tennis team is infinitely close to the five main players. He was previously a candidate for the Chengdu World Table Tennis Championships. Even she lost like this, so it would be even harder for other teammates to play.
After several duels, Liang Yanjie, the only one left in the national table tennis team, reached the semi-finals, and he was also the one with the best singles score in the WTT Oman Championship a few days ago (runner-up). However, facing the Chinese Taipei talented young player Lin Yunru, who was afraid of even the main players, Liang Yanjian not only got out of the big score 1-4, but also suffered a crushing defeat of 1-11 in the last game. It is really a pity!
According to statistics, only 7 of the 25 singles players in the national table tennis team lost to their teammates, and the remaining 18 were eliminated in foreign battles. They fought against Shina Hayata and Miu Hirano three times, all of which were defeated 0-3; they fought against Lin Yunru once, as mentioned earlier. The other athletes who defeated the national table tennis team involved all over Asia, Europe, and the Americas, which was indeed a veritable defeat.
Of course, the Chinese table tennis team played a few good singles in this game, such as Yansheng 3-2 reversed Yukiya Uda, Liang Yansheng 3-2 revenge Zhang Yuzhen, Chen Yuanyu unexpectedly eliminated Lin Zhongxun, Ninoha Kyuhi , etc., but everyone lacks the strength to go to the end, which shows that the timing is far from enough, and it is difficult to win occasionally, but it is difficult to last.
In the end, Japanese women's singles player Shina Hayata defeated her teammate Miu Hirano 4-1 in the semi-finals and defeated Portuguese Chinese veteran Fu Yu 4-1 in the final to win the championship. Lin Yunju encountered a big collapse after eliminating Liang Yanming to advance to the finals. He led the German dark horse and chopper Firus 3-0 and lost four games in a row: the cooked duck flew like this, which is really surprising!
2. Doubles
In terms of doubles, there are 13 pairs of Chinese table tennis teams participating, including 5 pairs of men's doubles, 6 pairs of women's doubles, and 2 pairs of mixed doubles. Except for 4 pairs who lost to teammates, the other 9 pairs are all losing to the external association combination. The men's doubles and women's doubles lost particularly badly, and they were eliminated without even touching the threshold of the finals. The performance of mixed doubles Xu Haidong/Wu Yangchen is still remarkable. It is not unfair to lose to Lin Yunru/Chen Siyu in the finals 2-3.
The final women's doubles final was a Japanese-Korea battle. Shina Hayata/Miyu Hirano swept Shin Yubin/Chue Xiaoju to the top 3-0; while the men's doubles final was ups and downs as the last match. Lin Yun-ju reversed others in the doubles after being reversed in singles, and fell 0-2 with Liao Zhen-yong and won three consecutive games. The decisive game even beat Swedish world champion Falk and his partner Karlberg to defeat.
