In order to build a solid safety net for drowning prevention and effectively protect the safety of students' lives, on the afternoon of August 25, the Political and Legal Committee of the Huimin District Committee, in conjunction with the District Public Security Bureau, Emergency Management Bureau, Urban Management Bureau, Market Supervision Administration, Education Bureau, Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau and other departments went to Zadagai River, Mermaid Gym, Zhenhua Plaza construction site, Qingshui Watai, and Water Elf Swimming Fitness Club to supervise and inspect the emergency management of drowning prevention. During the inspection, all functional departments conducted a focus on river protection facilities, drowning prevention warning signs, construction site fences and on duty, pool warning signs, swimming place operation qualifications, lifeguard qualifications, and prompt signs. The responsible units required the problems found to be rectified in a timely manner, and urged all units to do a good job in drowning prevention and control while doing a good job in drowning prevention. They should take a high sense of responsibility and make ensuring the safety of students' lives the top priority. They should take strong measures to implement all drowning prevention work, and resolutely prevent and curb student drowning incidents.
It is reported that this special action will continue to carry out investigations and rectifications for key time periods, key waters, and key groups, effectively solve the problems existing in the current hidden danger areas, and continuously build a solid safety barrier to prevent drowning, so as to protect students' safety.
