James McAvoy announced that he has joined the cast to start filming "Joker 2"
Recently, James McAvoy posted a photo on his personal social networking site and announced that he has joined the cast, confirming that filming of "Joker 2" has begun. Andy Bean will play the adult version of Sitanli, Yimei will play the adult version of Bill, Bill Hader will play the adult version of Richie, Jessica Chastain will play the adult version of Beverly, Bill Skarsgård will continue to play the clown. Jay Ryan will play the adult Ben, and James Ransone will play the adult Eddie. The children from the first film will appear in flashbacks.

The second part tells that twenty-seven years later, the children have entered middle age. They will return to the small town and face the clown and their own fears again.
