China Youth Football League (men's junior high school age group U13, U15 group) is aimed at young players of the junior high school age group. All levels and types (club youth training) across the country Echelons, social youth training institutions, sports school representative teams, school representative teams, etc.) Youth teams are free to register for the competition.

The China Youth Football League (men's junior high school age group U13 and U15) mainly focuses on local competitions during the semester. The national finals are concentrated during the summer vacation to achieve an orderly connection between the local qualifiers and the national finals.

(1) 2021 to 2022 school year competition group and age group setting

1. Group: U13 (first grade) group; U15 (second and third grade) group. 2. Participating age group.

U13 (junior first grade) group: September 1, 2008 to December 31, 2009;

1. Players from the youth training echelon of clubs and social youth training institutions should complete the registration and filing in Chinese Football Association , and other participating teams shall register for the competition based on their participation status.

2. Within a group, participating players can only represent one team at the same stage (registration and registration changes should be within the scope allowed by the regulations).

3. Each participating unit can register multiple teams to participate. Among them, the club's U14 youth training echelon should register to participate in the U15 (second and third grade junior high school) group competition to meet the professional club admission requirements.

4. The names of participating teams shall be determined by each participating unit. Schools, sports schools, club youth training echelons, and social youth training institutions can use combined names, and the names used in local competitions and national competitions should be consistent.

(3) Competition method

1. Men’s junior high school age group U13 and U15 will compete in eleven-a-side competition. The game uses a No. 5 ball with an air pressure of 0.6-0.9 sea level atmosphere.

3. All localities should mobilize, guide and give full play to the enthusiasm of social resources for hosting competitions.

4. In local qualifiers, if there are many participating teams and the level gap is large, the competition can be organized through qualifying competitions and grading competitions. The specific competition system is determined by each locality.

5. If there are not enough local teams, neighboring regions can jointly host games.

(6) National Finals Event Organization Requirements

1. The number of participating teams in the National Finals is 32-64, and the winning teams from each local qualifier will participate. The China Youth Football League Tournament Office will organize registration for the National Finals in early July every year.

2. The China Youth Football League Competition Office determines the number of teams participating in the national finals (including play-offs and main matches) based on the organization of local competitions. The quota of participating teams is based on the "Measures for the Allocation of Places in the National Finals of the China Youth Football League", taking into account the size of participating teams in local competitions, the integration of sports and education, the time span of the competition, competition organization, competition format, publicity, talent contribution, business, etc. The situation is determined.

3. The competition fees for the National Finals will be borne by the China Youth Football League Event Office. Transportation, board and lodging expenses will be borne by the participating teams, and the China Youth Football League Competition Office will provide subsidies.
