From 31 July 2022, all other visa categories - including visitor and student visas - can apply to enter New Zealand from anywhere in the world.

Cruise ships can enter New Zealand from 31 July 2022 as maritime borders open.

New Zealand’s opening plan has been advanced

Vaccination certificate

Passengers and crew members entering or transiting New Zealand must have Proof of COVID-19 vaccination showing that they have been fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm (BIBP) or Science Hing vaccine. Pre-arrival testing
