According to an announcement on the website of the China University of Mining and Technology Graduate School on July 19, Liu Yong, male, received a professional master's degree in engineering from China University of Mining and Technology in December 2020. The title of his master's thesis is: Polarization of lithium batteries under fast charging conditions. Research on voltage optimization methods, degree certificate number: 1029032020022421.
After investigation and verification by the academic committee of the school, it was determined that Liu Yong’s master’s degree thesis contained academic misconduct and plagiarized other people’s academic achievements. According to relevant regulations, the 78th Degree Evaluation Committee of China University of Mining and Technology decided to revoke Liu Yong’s master’s degree, invalidate his degree certificate (certificate number: 1029032020022421), and cancel his degree information.
