According to the police, the "Lecai" APP software is actually a fake platform that imitates the national regular lottery, and behind it is a professional fraud gang. Not only does it have a dedicated person responsible for online promotion, but after the victim enters the APP, the chat group intervenes and disguises itself as an investment mentor to guide the victim to invest. During the investment process, the victim has a high chance of winning, and the mentor continues to induce the victim to invest more money. The reason why the victim was able to win money is because the gang has a dedicated technical maintenance team, and the odds and winning or losing of the game can be controlled by the backend. According to
police, the gang is currently involved in more than 10 cases, with the amount involved exceeding 10 million yuan. Currently, 11 suspects have been detained by the police on suspicion of fraud. The case is still under further investigation.
