In ancient my country, there were many incidents of digging people's graves and insulting the corpses . Most of them were atrocities committed by enemies to vent their hatred on the deceased, but they were just whipping the bones and burning the coffins. Only Murong Hui, of Qianyan , entered the country of Goguryeo and actually transported the body of the late king back to his country thousands of miles away.
During the Jin and Jin Dynasties, a tribe called the Xianbei tribe gradually emerged in the Liaodong region. In 337 AD, Murong Huang, the leader of the Xianbei tribe, proclaimed himself King of Yan and established the country, which was known as Qian Yan in history.

At the same time, there was another country in Liaodong called Goguryeo. The predecessor of Goguryeo was Korea, which was the fiefdom of Jizi during the Zhou Dynasty. It was usurped by the Yan people and Wei Manchu in the early years of the Han Dynasty. By the time of Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty, due to the weakened national power of the Han Dynasty and its inability to manage remote areas, Xuantu County person Gao Zhumeng led his people to break away from the Han Dynasty and establish the Goguryeo Kingdom. The king of Goguryeo at this time was Gao Zhao, the tenth grandson of Gao Jumong.
The Goguryeo Kingdom often united with the Yuwen tribe to invade the Yan people. Murong Huang hated the Yuwen tribe and first wanted to attack the Goguryeo Kingdom, so he discussed strategies with his generals. Some people say that Goguryeo had two roads to choose from, the north and the south. The north road was wide and flat, and the south road was narrow and rugged.
Murong Hui's brother Murong Han was quite knowledgeable. He suggested advancing in two directions, deploying heavy troops on the rugged South Road, and then concentrating all the old, weak, sick and disabled on the North Road to paralyze Goguryeo. Murong Huang followed his brother's advice and appointed him as the vanguard to attack Goguryeo from the south, while he led a small force to follow as preparation.

Gao Jumeng
The king of Goguryeo, Gao Zhao, was frivolous and cunning, and he fell into Murong Han's plan of claiming the north and attacking the south. He transferred all the elite troops in the country to the North Road and made his younger brother Gao Wu the marshal of the North. He led the old, weak, sick and disabled to defend the South Road.
As soon as Gao Zhao's troops encountered Murong Han's elite troops on South Road, they were like a sheep in a tiger's mouth, life or death! They all lost their lives like chopping melons and vegetables. The war did not last long, and Gao Zhao's army was completely wiped out. The remaining few followers fled to the mountains on horseback, not even daring to return to the capital.
Murong Han's troops marched straight in and easily captured Wandu, the capital of Goguryeo. Gao Zhao's mother, wife, sons and daughters were all captured alive by the Yan army. Yan soldiers burned, killed and looted the city, packing all the gold and silver treasures in the palace, as well as more than 50,000 men and women, into carts.

Murong Huang
The Yan army not only robbed living people, the tomb of Gao Zhao's father Gaoli was also dug up, and all the buried treasures in the tomb were robbed. Murong Huang even transported several pieces of Gaoli's remains back to the capital of Yan Kingdom Longcheng . As a result, the entire prosperous capital was moved away, and now "Wandu" became a real "Wandu".
Goguryeo once conspired with Qi Degui, the chief of the Yuwen Department, to send troops, intending to destroy Murong Xin and then divide his land and people equally. Murong Xin sent his son Murong Huang to defeat Qi Degui after all the hard work. Goguryeo was a master who bullied the weak and feared the strong, and quickly sent people to sue for peace before the war started. That's why the Murong family acted so violently and vented their hatred after they invaded the capital of Goguryeo today.

San Yan's ancient capital
Gao Zhao was beaten to pieces and his family was destroyed. He had no choice but to send people to the Yan State to offer money and become a minister, and begged Murong Huang to return his father's body and his mother, wife and children. Murong Huang accepted Gao Zhao's surrender, but only agreed to return his father's body and continued to imprison his mother, wife, son and daughter as hostages. Gao Zhao had no choice but to pack up the remnants and move the capital to the inner city.
