At about 12:00 on May 22, when the police auxiliary police of the No. 1 Squadron of the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Anqiu City Public Security Bureau were arresting an active robbery suspect with a knife, they encountered him frantically brandishing a knife and resisting arrest. After a 10-minute confrontation between the two sides, the police took advantage of him and threw him to the ground. During the arrest, an auxiliary police officer was injured in the hand.
Case History
At about 9:30 on May 22, a knife-wielding robbery occurred on the road near a village in Xing'an Street , Anqiu City. After receiving the alarm from the victim, police from the Xing'an Police Station of the Anqiu City Public Security Bureau and the First Squadron of the Criminal Investigation Brigade arrived at the scene.
According to the victim, Ms. Li, when she was riding to the scene of the crime, she was threatened with a knife by a man riding an electric bicycle and robbed her of the 55 yuan in cash she was carrying. The man who committed the crime was wearing a helmet, sunglasses, a mask, and gloves. He was about 50 years old.
After the police inspected the scene, they immediately drove the victim to search for the suspect nearby.
1 At about 11:30, the police found traces of the suspect about 1 kilometer away from the crime scene, and immediately drove to chase him. The suspect realized that someone was chasing him, abandoned his car and fled to a nearby village.

During this period, a policeman's coat was punctured and an auxiliary policeman was injured on the back of his hand. After the confrontation between the two sides for about 10 minutes, the police took advantage of his unpreparedness and knocked the dagger from his hand and quickly captured him.After review, the suspect's name is Song Moumou, 55 years old this year, from a village in Linghe Town, Anqiu City. He was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Anqiu City People's Court for robbery, theft, and rape. His sentence was later commuted, and he was released in December 2017 after serving his sentence.
According to Song's confession, on the day of the incident, he stole an electric bicycle from Linghe Town, rode all the way to the scene of the incident, and impromptuly robbed Ms. Li, who was walking alone. When he was arrested, he was preparing to return to Linghe Town along the same route, when he encountered police officers who were pursuing him.
Currently, Song Moumou has been criminally detained.
