Since the outbreak of the new epidemic, Xuzhou District has introduced talents to respond to orders, go against the trend, and actively report to the community to become epidemic prevention volunteers. They shoulder the heavy responsibility and the "epidemic" is inevitable, and they are fully committed to fighting the epidemic together. They are either "Dabai" who is soaked at the site of the nucleic acid test, or they are order maintainers, checkpoint guards, and waiters for the needy who are not afraid of hardship or fatigue...

"A family of three" went to the front line together
"My job is to assist doctors in carrying out nucleic acid testing. After community residents scan the QR code here, they can go to the doctor for nucleic acid sampling." At the nucleic acid sampling point of Sunshine City Longshan Yue Community in Shuanghuai Community, Zhaochang Street, volunteer Tang Jiming skillfully scanned the QR code for the masses.
"I am from Neijiang . After watching the Xuzhou District talent recruitment video, I signed up for the talent recruitment in June this year. Now I have officially registered as an employee of the Xuzhou District Economic Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Bureau." Tang Jiming, a master's degree student in German language and literature at Southwest University, encountered the epidemic just after he reported to the unit in early September. He was born in a cadre family and took the initiative to apply to work on the front line to protect the safety of this area.
At the beginning, Tang Jiming was inexperienced and the point nucleic acid collection speed was slow. Seeing the long queue of people waiting, he felt anxious and worried. Fortunately, the medical staff next to him had been patiently guiding him, and the sampling speed gradually became faster.

collected nucleic acids, Tang Jiming also went to collect nucleic acids individually for those with yellow codes. "To be honest, I was quite scared when I faced the yellow code personnel for the first time, but the medical staff acted too fast and didn't give me time to think. With their guidance, I gradually overcame my inner fear." Tang Jiming introduced while expressing his admiration for the medical staff. Now, he is a qualified "journeyman". No matter it is a rainy day or a sunny day, after taking off the protective clothing, his clothes are soaked with sweat. The marks on his face from the mask are very deep, but his smile is bright and sunny.
"A few days ago, my parents called me and told me to pay attention to safety and take protective measures, but now they are also going to the front line." On September 12, Neijiang City had 49 new confirmed cases, 11 new local asymptomatic infections, and new mutant strains appeared. Tang Jiming's father is a cadre of the Education and Sports Bureau of Zizhong County, and his mother is a senior teacher at the Zizhong County Training School. They are both retired employees and are currently working as volunteers in the community.
"After the epidemic is over, what I want to do most is to go home and reunite with my parents." The determined face of this "post-95s" young man showed a little worry, but more of it was full of expectation.

She is one of the "Six Warriors of Liya"
"I am a party member, I will go in!" "I am a cadre, I will go in first!"... After the recruitment order for volunteers was issued in the Zhongdukou community of Nan'an Street, six cadres and employees of the Xuzhou District Market Supervision Bureau rushed to sign up. Yuan Yuan, a talent introduction in 2020 and a master's student of Xihua University, was one of them.
After Yuan Yuan and his team settled in the community, they quickly got into work and undertook tasks such as assisting medical staff in scanning codes for nucleic acid tests, maintaining the order of the nucleic acid team, and persuading the masses.
"I used to only hear others say that epidemic prevention is hard work, but now that I have become a 'Dabai', I have a deep understanding of how hard it is for frontline workers in epidemic prevention." Starting from 6 a.m., wearing protective clothing cannot go to the toilet or drink water until the nucleic acid testing work of more than 4,000 people in the community is completed. The difficult living environment makes it difficult for them to sleep. But no matter how difficult it was, Yuan Yuan encouraged each other and persevered with everyone. After other colleagues heard about their deeds, they all called them the "Six Warriors of Liya" with admiration.

After getting off work, Yuan Yuan took off his protective clothing. His hair and clothes were already soaked with sweat. But when she returned to the break point, she didn't seem to feel tired. She gathered with her colleagues to discuss what else could be optimized and improved in the day's work. After free time, everyone also chatted about interesting things that happened, facing the severity of the epidemic with an optimistic and positive attitude. Her enthusiasm infected her teammates and the residents of the community.
A group of people, with one heart, unite the fireflies into a galaxy. In the face of the epidemic, Yuan Yuan suppressed his worries about his family, stepped forward, sacrificed himself for the greater, and resolutely joined the front line of epidemic prevention, striving to be the "vanguard" of epidemic prevention and control.
Under the leadership of Yuan Yuan, four other imported talents from the Xuzhou District Market Supervision Bureau have also actively joined the front line to supervise the market and ensure supply and stable prices. They have been using practical actions to protect the health and safety of the people and "contribute" to epidemic prevention and control.

Guard a bayonet to protect the safety of one party
"Hello! Please show your health code, pass (work permit) and nucleic acid test certificate." "Hello! Vehicles must have a pass to pass!" At the intersection of Anjuli East Street in Guihua Community, Nan'an Street, Xuzhou District, Zhang Shuwei, a talent introduced by the Emergency Management Bureau, was checking the relevant information of people entering and exiting in an orderly manner.

Zhang Shuwei is also a newly imported talent who will register in 2022. A master's degree student in safety and scientific engineering of Southwest University of Science and Technology. After receiving the emergency notification at 3 a.m. on September 8, he immediately went to the checkpoint to guard the border until 8 p.m. that day. Since the initial volunteers were not yet in place, he continued on duty for a new day at 5 a.m. on September 9. He never returned to his residence after arriving at work. He stayed in a nearby hotel at night to ensure that he could arrive at work as soon as possible in an emergency.
"I lived in Talent Apartment after coming to Yiyi. I was the only one at home. I basically had no worries, but I also encountered a little trouble." At this point, Zhang Shuwei touched his nose shyly: "Other colleagues My family packed up the clothes and sent them to me, but I was alone and no one sent me clothes. I just wore this set of clothes for the first few days. I went back to the hotel in the evening to wash and dry them quickly." After learning about Zhang Shuwei's "little trouble", colleagues at the work unit lent him two sets of clothes, which solved his "urgent need".
Song Ying and Li Ke, two imported talents from the Xuzhou District Transportation Bureau, are also "gatekeepers" like Zhang Shuwei. "Although we are not Dabai, we also want to contribute to epidemic prevention and control." Li Ke said.
These deeds are just a microcosm of Xuzhou District’s introduction of talents in epidemic prevention and control. The remaining more than 100 imported talents also stick to the front line based on their job responsibilities and professional expertise. Some are responsible for medical rescue, some are responsible for supervising the market, ensuring supply and stable prices, and some are guiding and solving people's livelihood problems. They are all silently contributing to the anti-epidemic work.
