Three musicians traveled for five days and four nights, collecting different sound elements along the way, and using the most infectious notes to interpret natural sounds and natural beauty. This is the story that Douyin's "Hear My Journey" tells. Starting from December 20, every Tuesday at 12 noon, the program will be broadcast on byte system platforms such as , Douyin, , Xigua Video, Toutiao, and Fresh Times TV. They experienced the bustling modern life in the street markets where historical traces can be seen everywhere. The three MCs also gave themselves a group name that was too sweet - "Marzipan". In Lijiang Zhongyi Market, "Marzipan" collects voices from the market. Tang Hanxiao used local materials and set up a simple music production station along the street. He used water-containing fruits and vegetables as speaker triggers, allowing us to hear eggplants, tomatoes, onions, grapes... Each fruit and vegetable has its own sound.
"The more common but easily overlooked things in our daily lives are used in the program to stimulate the audience's interest again through artists and scenes, so that everyone can discover that there are so many good voices and so many lovely people in our daily lives. This is a starting point for me to make this program," said Zheng Yi, the chief director of "Listening to the Journey".
Zheng Yi was also deeply touched by the folk artists who adhered to traditional culture and passed down Naxi ancient music in Lijiang Tiandi Courtyard. For most tourists traveling to Lijiang, Tiandi Courtyard is not a popular attraction, but when Director Zheng visited the site, he was deeply attracted by the multi-part vocal chorus coming from the courtyard. He and the dean introduced to the director that the eldest among them was 80 years old, and performed three performances a day, 365 days a year. In terms of rewards, there was no reward at all, but they felt that Naxi ancient music should be passed down. So after getting permission from the local propaganda department, "Almond Candy" walked into Tiandiyuan. The three MCs changed into national costumes and played and sang together with the Naxi folks. The three MCs were shocked to experience the national folk culture at such a close distance. The vocals collected in Tiandiyuan were also used in the final original work .
According to reports, in future programs, "Almond Candy" will also come to the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and unexpectedly meet the local ethnic reggae band Puman Band in Yunnan, bringing about impromptu cooperation; and enter the wilderness created by expert Qiao Xiaodao using discarded metal. country, collect the sounds of metal and listen to his fantastic experiences; and go to the beautiful Lugu Lake to experience the joy of the Mosu people's rice harvest. After five days and four nights of adventure, "Almond Candy" gained not only sound materials and musical inspiration, but also a deep understanding of national music and local customs.
